Celebrity Big Brother USA Rumored To Have Casts Someone From A Former Controversial Show
Hey, “Big Brother” fans. We’ve got another Celebrity Big Brother USA casting rumor for you guys. We know a lot of you just want to hear something official from CBS already. Unfortunately, we don’t expect to hear anything from them until like maybe a week before the show starts. So, these rumor reports are all we have to go on to provide any sort of insight until CBS or the Big brother producers decide to chime in with anything.
With that said, this latest rumor comes from the folks over at Radaronline.com. After they reported this latest rumor, a ton of other media outlets jumped on board. They’re claiming that former MTV “Jersey Shore” reality star Sammi Giancola is rumored to have joined the cast.
Her nickname was “Sweetheart” on Jersey Shore. We don’t know exactly why she was given that nickname. It might have been because she was very emotional and caring at times, but that’s just a guess.
Anyways, Radaronline indirectly reported this news as a result of Sammi deciding not to participate in a Jersey Shore Family Vacation reunion show. They said one of their sources told them the reason why is because she is joining Celebrity Big Brother. Their source stated, “Sammi is working on another project. I believe she is joining Celebrity Big Brother.”
With that little bit of news, Sammi immediately became the next big rumor for the first ever Celebrity Big Brother USA cast. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the MTV “Jersey Shore” reality show, it was a pretty controversial show that aired from December 3, 2009 to December 20, 2012 in the United States.
It followed the lives of eight housemates spending their summer at the Jersey Shore in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Aside from Sammi, the cast included: Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino, Jennifer “JWoww” Farley, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, Angelina Pivarnick and Deena Nicole Cortese.
In season 2, the cast filmed in Miami Beach, Florida. In season 3, they returned to the Jersey Shore. In the fourth season, they headed over to Italy. In season 5, they once again returned to Jersey Shore. Then they finally wrapped things up with the sixth and final season.
When the show premiered, it encountered a ton of controversy regarding the use of the words “Guido/Guidette,” the portrayal of Italian-Americans due to the fact some of the members of the cast were not of Italian descent and for perpetuating stereotypes as well as scrutiny from locals because the cast members were not residents of the area.
The University of Chicago and the University of Oklahoma are among the educational institutions that have had classes or conferences about the show. In 2010, the cast of Jersey Shore were named on Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People list, and the series has since been exported to dozens of countries worldwide. In Japan, the series was titled “MTV Jersey Shore – the New Jersey life of macaroni rascals.”
Getting back to Sammi, she was involved in a very roller coaster/tumultuous relationship with castmember Ronnie Magro. They would break up and get back together again throughout most of the seasons. It really got old. After renegotiating their contracts with MTV, Sammi was actually raking in around $80,000 per episode by the final season six.
Aside from appearing on Jersey Shore, Sammi has appeared on a ton other stuff that includes: Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (TV Series), MTV News Presents: Top 9 of ’09 (TV Movie), Rachael Ray (TV Series) , Jersey Shore: Spoof’d (TV Movie) , The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (TV Series) ,2010 MTV Video Music Awards (TV Special), The Barbara Walters Summer Special (TV Series).
MTV New Year’s Bash 2011 (TV Movie), Good Morning America (TV Series) ,Nail Files (TV Series) , MTV Video Music Awards 2011 Pre-Show (TV Special), 2011 MTV Video Music Awards (TV Special),Jimmy Kimmel Live! (TV Series), Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show (TV Series),Jersey Shore Politics (Short) ,Wendy: The Wendy Williams Show (TV Series).

According to Sammi’s Wikipedia page, she also got involved in some interesting business ventures. In 2011, she endorsed a fragrance called Dangerous. This line is available for both men and women. Shortly after endorsing Dangerous, she endorsed another fragrance called Dangerous Desires. Her passion for creating a fragrance line was because of Paris Hilton’s own line.
In 2013, Sammi launched her own online clothing line called Sweetheart Styles. Her clothing line includes: active wear, dresses, tops, bottoms and outerwear. She also has her own line of clutches, bracelets, earrings and necklace sets. So, she’s definitely capitalizing quite well off her 15 minutes of fame.
In 2015, Sammi became a co-host on the podcast called, “Just Sayin.” The podcast is published by Loud Speakers Network and made in New York City. Her other co-hosts’ include: relationship expert Siggy Flicker and TV host Clare Galterio. The ladies talk about things going on in their personal lives along with the latest celebrity rumors.
As far as Sammi’s personality goes, she’s a pretty even keel person for the most part unless you get her riled up. When she’s angry, she can scrap with the best of them. We think she could bring a semi-interesting dynamic to the Big Brother house depending on who else is in there with her. Based on what we saw of her on MTV’s Jersey Shore, she probably won’t be one of the more bold, in-your-face types. However,a lot of time has passed since we last saw her in the final Jersey Shore season in 2012. So, who knows? She might be different now. Sammi “Sweeheart” Giancola joins other rumored celebrities: Stephanie Pratt, Nene Leaks, Sharon Osbourne rock stars Sebastian Bach and Vince Neil, Model and former “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville, Professional skateboarder and Jacka** movie star Bam Margera, Comedian Kathy Griffin, actor Neil Patrick Harris, actor Ryan Lochte.
The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon actor Norman Reedus, former “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” contestants Kaitlyn Bristowe and her fiance Shawn Booth. Former MTV’s “The Hills” reality show star Spencer Pratt, celebrity blogger/TV personality Perez Hilton, former stripper/model/entrepreneur Blac Chyna, former The MTV The Hills reality show star Brody Jenner and Asian popstar Tiffany Hwang.
As previously reported, former NSYNC boy band member Lance Bass revealed that he would not participate on the show unless they paid him a whopping $10 million dollars! That means that he’s obviously out because CBS would never pay him that much cash. Heck, he was probably the least popular of all the NSYNC members. Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez were the main stars of the group. The rest of them were just basically backup dancers and singers.
Alright guys. That’s all the info we have for this latest Celebrity Big Brother USA edition. Currently, there’s still no word from CBS or the Big Brother producers as to when the season will actually start. Our best guess at this point is either January or February 2018.
We’re hoping we’ll finally hear something before this month of December is over. However, if the season does actually start in February 2018, it’s highly possible that December could be another empty month in regards to any official news from CBS or the Big Brother producers.
We’re sure we’ll see a host of new, unofficial rumors continue to flow out of the woodworks. We’ll definitely keep you guys posted on those. Be sure to follow us on our Big Brother Facebook page for more Big Brother news by Clicking Here.
