New Celebrity Big Brother USA Official Start Date And TV Schedule Finally Revealed
Hey, fellow “Big Brother” fans. We really think you’re going to like this latest report for the upcoming Celebrity USA Big Brother edition. Finally and I mean finally we’ve gotten some sort of official word as to when Celebrity Big brother USA is supposed to start.
Not only that, we know how many episodes a week they plan on airing it. The only thing we don’t have is the duration or how long the season will last. That’s something we’ll have to wait longer to find out.
Ok, so with no further ado, according to a brand new report from the people over at Deadline.com, CBS is going to use Celebrity Big Brother to compete against the 2018 Winter Olympics in February 2018. They’re saying that CBS is planning to air Celebrity Big Brother four nights a week. So, it sounds like we’re going to get all the big Brother action we can handle during that time.
Alright, now it’s the date that you guys have all been waiting for. The official premiere date. That date is Wednesday night, February 7,2018. That’s right guys. So, definitely be sure to mark that official premiere date down on your TV show calendars. Deadline went on to report that CBS is going to try to get the ratings jump on the Winter Olympics by starting Celebrity Big Brother two nights before they start on Friday night, February 9,2018.
Currently, it’s unclear what nights CBS will be airing the four Celebrity Big Brother episodes. We can already guess from the premiere episode date that Wednesday nights will be one of the nights it airs. We’re also guessing they’ll air the live eviction shows on Thursday nights like they’ve always done. So, that leaves the other two days a mystery for now. We’re sure we’ll get the full details on those days pretty soon. Or at least we hope so.
Deadline.com has always been a very reliable news source. So, we believe this February 7,2018 Celebrity Big Brother premiere date is pretty solid. If we find out it’s not, we’ll certainly let you guys know.
Again, we’re also still waiting for the official duration that they have planned for the Celebrity Big Brother edition season. We know its definitely going to be much shorter that the original 90 day regular season. We’ve been hearing 30 to 45 days so far with it more likely being just 30 days given how hard it is to book celebrities to do something this long.
Oh,wait a minute guys. This just in. Entertainment Weekly just released a new report regarding the schedule for Celebrity Big Brother USA. They’ve actually revealed the days that it will air along with how long it will last. It turns out that Celebrity Big Brother is going to air from February 7,2018 until February 25,2018. Again, mark those important dates down on your TV calendars.
Now, for the schedule. It looks like this. As we mentioned earlier, the premiere episode will air on Wednesday night, February 7,2018 at 8 pm to 9 pm eastern standard time. Then it will air for one hour on Thursday night, Feb 8,2018, at 8pm to 9pm,Friday night, February 9,2018 from 8 pm to 10 pm, Sunday night, February 11,2018 at 8pm to 9pm, Monday night, February 12,2018 at 8pm to 9 pm, Wednesday night, February 14,2018 at 8pm to 9pm,Friday night, February 16,2018 at 8pm to 10pm.

All the times listed here are Eastern Standard times. So, be sure to match that to your particular time zone.
Judging from that schedule, it looks like CBS is definitely going hit us with an immaculate barrage of Big Brother episodes. Actually, on most of the Friday nights, they’re going to air two-hour episodes. So, that’s pretty incredible. As previously reported, the live feeds will be available for the show. They’re also going to feature the POV and Head of Household competitions just like the regular seasons.
It will definitely be a fast moving season since they’re going to pack everything into just 18 days. Wow, that’s way shorter than all the predictions or early speculations suggested. We actually thought the shortest duration would be at least 30 days, but it won’t even be that long. Oh well.
We should also note that CBS will be airing the big premiere of Amazing Race season 30 on Wednesday night,January 3,2018 from 8 pm to 9 pm eastern standard time. It’s going to feature Big Brother season 19 houseguests/couple Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson!
One of the Amazing Race episodes will actually air after the premiere of Celebrity Big Brother on February 7,2018. We don’t know how far Jessica and Cody made it in the competition. So, we don’t know if they’ll be in that February 7th episode or not. We definitely know they’ll show up in the premiere episode. So, be sure to mark that January 3,2018 date down on your TV show calendars.
In related news, we also reported today that the latest Celebrity Big Brother casting rumor has former MTV “Jersey Shore” reality show star Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola joining the cast. The rumor came out of the Radaronline.com camp. They said a source of theirs told them that Sammie has chosen not to participate in some Jersey Shore Family Vacation reunion show due to the fact that she is joining Celebrity Big Brother. The sources exact words were, “Sammi is working on another project. I believe she is joining Celebrity Big Brother.”
So, currently the Celebrity Big Brother USA cast roundup looks like this: Sammi “Sweeheart” Giancola, Stephanie Pratt, Nene Leaks, Sharon Osbourne rock stars Sebastian Bach and Vince Neil, Model and former “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville, Professional skateboarder and Jacka** movie star Bam Margera, Comedian Kathy Griffin, actor Neil Patrick Harris, actor Ryan Lochte.
The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon actor Norman Reedus, former “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” contestants Kaitlyn Bristowe and her fiance Shawn Booth. Former MTV’s “The Hills” reality show star Spencer Pratt, celebrity blogger/TV personality Perez Hilton, former stripper/model/entrepreneur Blac Chyna, former The MTV The Hills reality show star Brody Jenner and Asian popstar Tiffany Hwang.
There have been some other names rumored besides the ones listed here. We’ve just chosen not to list them because they just seem way more far-fetched than these, and they have no real source to back them up.
Unfortunately, CBS and the Big Brother producers haven’t revealed any official casting details yet. So, all we have to go on is these rumor reports. We suspect it’ll be that way until at least about a week or two before the show is scheduled to start. That’s the way CBS always does it. Heck, we were fortunate enough to find out the premiere for Celebrity Big Brother this far out.
Given that it’s in February, we probably would’ve had to wait until January or something for CBS to say something. We don’t know how Deadline and Entertainment Weekly got the Celebrity Big Brother premiere scoop, but we’re glad they did. We’re sure they have secret sources or something.
Alright guys. We’ll definitely stay on the lookout for anymore official news and rumors for the highly anticipated Celebrity Big Brother USA season.
