‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Is Bringing Back A Main Male Character In March 2018
Alright guys. We’ve got some pretty interesting news to share with you about a big returning character. This news was first reported by the folks over at Soap Opera Digest. It turns out that the Bold And The Beautiful production team has gotten the former Thomas Forrester portrayer Pierson Fode to come back and reprise the role!
However, it’s reported that this is not a long-term return. It’s a short-term arc that Pierson apparently couldn’t resist. He told Soap Opera Digest that he actually wasn’t planning on returning to the show anytime soon, but this storyline got him really excited. He stated, “This has been a fun story to come back for. When Bradley Bell, [executive producer/head writer] pitched it to me, I was super-excited about it!”
The last time Thomas appeared on the show was way back on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. At that time, he told Sally he needed to be with Caroline and his son Douglas despite having much love for Sally. It’s reported that Thomas’ first return onscreen airdate is set for the Friday,March 9, 2018 episode. So, be sure to mark that date down on your Bold And The Beautiful calendars.
Other than the brief mentions of a fun storyline, no other details have been revealed about what Thomas will be doing when he returns to “The Bold And The Beautiful.” We’re speculating that it could possibly be in regards to Sally and her recent Bill shooting. However, we can’t officially confirm that. Whatever the case, we believe it will be at least semi-interesting.
After Pierson left the show, he revealed that he launched a new app called 8secondz. He talked about it for a little bit saying, “It’s really cool. This is a competition where fans can jump in and compete. My competition is for acting, and whoever can recreate their favorite pickup line with the best use creativity or humor or shots or whatever. They will land in the top twenty.
From there, two winners will get a thirty-minute mentoring session with myself, and I can help critique it and make suggestions about how to improve it. We both learn from the experience. We can also just have a conversation too. They can ask me just about whatever they want. It’s a really cool, interactive platform.”
