‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Bill Spencer Star Don Diamont Got Injured Off Set

‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Bill Spencer Star Don Diamont Got Injured Off Set

Happy Friday and weekend “Bold And The Beautiful” fans. We’ve got some not-so-great news for you guys in regards to Bill Spencer’s portrayer Don Diamont (above). As we previously reported he’s currently over in Italy attempting to get his dance groove on in Italy’s version of “Dancing With The Stars.”

Now, some new information from the folks over at Soapcentral, reveals that he has indeed been injured. Apparently, he suffered a hip injury and is also experiencing a lot of back pain. The good news is these injuries have not stopped him from competing especially when you consider that he took all that time off from the show and then had to fly all the way to Italy.

The details are that Don actually got injured while rehearsing for the show. He apparently hopped on his official Instagram account to share the unfortunate news. He wrote, “Had a hip injury today at the end of rehearsal and was concerned that there might have been a fracture or maybe a soft tissue injury.”

He went on to reveal that he was cleared to keep dancing after they did an MRI. However, he had to get an anti-inflammatory shot. He wrote, “I had an MRI, all good. They stuck a nice big needle in my a@# just now, an anti-inflammatory.”

On his Instagram, Don also revealed that he’s had to get a couple of injections in his back. He included a video with that too with the caption: “If you’re squeamish around needles, you might not want to click play on this one!” You guys can view that post on Don’s official Instagram by Clicking Here.

Currently, Don’s Bold And The Beautiful Dollar Bill Spencer character has been shot, and the big storyline is ” who in the hell shot him?” They’ve got Liam acting all weird as if Bill never did all the crap he’s pulled. And almost everyone could be a possible suspect. However, the main characters that are currently being eyed by the detectives is Sally Spectra, Thomas Forrester, Ridge Forrester, Liam Spencer and Wyatt Spencer.

They’re definitely going to have to widen their list of suspects for this case because nearly the whole cast had motive for pulling the trigger on Bill. I was previously placing all my bets on the shooter being crazy Sheila because she said she took it serious when Ridge implied that it would be a good idea for her to kill Bill.

However, I might now be inclined to shift some of my bets to Caroline. It’s highly possible that she could have shot him. She’s definitely angry enough at him as we just saw in the March 14, 2018 episode. Heck, she appears to be trying to kill him in that hospital scene. One thing’s for sure is that CBS will definitely ride this “who shot Bill?” storyline out for as long as they can. I could see them taking months for them to solve this case. No doubt.

In other Bold And The Beautiful news, another report from the Soapcentral camp reveals that Maya Avant’s portrayer Karla Mosley recently made a pretty surprising confession to the folks over at Glamour magazine.

She did it in the form of an essay which is titled, “Yes, Black Women Struggle With Eating Disorders Too.” Yep, apparently Karla struggled with an eating disorder when she was a young girl in high school. She reveals that she tried to look like the picture-perfect women that she saw around her and on television.

She wrote, “The standard of beauty around me was literally impossible for me to achieve. And while I knew I’d never be blonde or white as my thighs grew bigger, my hips curved and my butt and stomach rounded. I felt I could or should control that. My disordered eating was focused on the bodies I saw around me and on TV. I don’t think I understood until recently that what I was trying to erase was the ethnicity, the culture I also longed to be part of.”

Karla also revealed that she developed eating disorders at an even earlier age stating, “As a kid you usually can’t access the substances other people use to soothe emotional anguish or addiction: drugs, cigarettes, alcohol. And food is generally around and not presented as a danger.

So, I’d overeat when home alone. I’d hide candy to prevent my mom from taking it away without an understanding that these behaviors could escalate to more harmful ones. I recently found a journal from when I was seven that said I ‘needed to exercise.’ I had already started finding ways to counteract what I knew was inappropriate eating.”

Karla went on to explain that these bad habits continued on through her young adult years, and they didn’t end until she nearly lost an acting job over it. She wrote, “My employer caught on and gave me an ultimatum: I could get help, or I could leave the show. That was fifteen years ago, and the specialist I agreed to speak with then and there saved my life.”

Karla also explained how she currently deals with possible negative thoughts and ideas. She wrote, “Five or six years ago, I made a kind of deal with God. I had lost my period for ten years, and I wanted it back so I could start thinking about having kids. I said, ‘Okay, I believe that I am supposed to be healthy, and I believe that I am supposed to act and to dance.

I believe that both of these things should coexist, but if being healthy means I can’t do the work I love, then I choose health first.’ And that was a big difference. Now that I’ve made the decision to be a healthy-looking woman on camera, and to not compromise that no matter what. When a thought comes up, I push it aside and I focus on my work.

Mostly, I’ve become curious. When a feeling or thought comes up that in the past could have been destructive, I now look at it. I write about it or dance it out. I pause, I meditate, I throw love on it and I watch it change.”

Currently, Karla’s Maya character is one of the many characters that are entangled in the latest “who shot Bill?” storyline. She and her husband Rick found out that Bill slept with Steffy just before Bill got shot. They aren’t prime suspects, but Rick definitely didn’t have any problems expressing how awful he thinks Bill. I believe he said something along the lines of there’s a place in Hell for Bill, and the sooner he gets there the better. Yep, that’s pretty harsh.

The show just recently took a break from airing this past Thursday,March 15, 2018 and Friday, March 16, 2018 due to CBS’ live coverage of the big March Madness NCAA Basketball Championships. But, it’s due to be back in full action this Monday, March 19, 2018.

The Bold And The Beautiful usually airs every Monday through Friday at 12:30 pm central standard time on CBS. Stay tuned. Also, be sure to follow us on our Bold And The Beautiful Facebook page for more Bold And The Beautiful news by Clicking Here.
