NCIS Abby Star Pauley Perrette Gave Possible, New Disturbing Hints Why She Left The Show

Hey, “NCIS” fans. As most of you are well aware of now, Abby Sciuto portrayer Pauley Perrette recently made her big exit from the show. Now, it’s being reported that she has dropped a few, possible, disturbing hints as to why on her official Twitter account. We’re actually pulling from two different sources to sort of piece this story together.

The first one is from the Huffington Post which reveals all the Twitter details Pauley’s been posting as of late. The second source is from The Wrap.com which reveals these incidents may be tied to a violent experience she witnessed on set with Gibbs star Mark Harmon’s dog.

According to the Huffington Post, Pauley made a couple of disturbing tweets this past week starting on May 12, 2018. She wrote, “I refused to go low, that’s why I’ve never told publicly what happened. But there are tabloid articles out there that are telling total lies about me. If you believe them? Please leave me alone. You clearly don’t know me. (Sorry guys, had to be said).”

In the second tweet, Pauley wrote:”Maybe I’m wrong for not “spilling the beans” Telling the story, THE TRUTH. I feel I have to protect my crew, jobs and so many people. But at what cost? I.don’t know. Just know, I’m trying to do the right thing, but maybe silence isn’t the right thing about crime. I’m… Just… ?”

In the third tweet, she wrote, “There is a “machine’ keeping me silent, and feeding FALSE stories about me. A very rich, very powerful publicity “machine”. No morals, no obligation to truth, and I’m just left here, reading the lies, trying to protect my crew. Trying to remain calm. He did it.”

Finally, in the last tweet on May 13, 2018, she wrote, “I’ve been supporting ant-bullying programs forever. But now I KNOW because it was ME! If it’s school or work, that you’re required to go to? It’s horrifying. I left. Multiple Physical Assaults. I REALLY get it now. Stay safe. Nothing is worth your safety. Tell someone.”

These series of tweets led to multiple news outlets running stories that Pauley’s departure from the show may have had something to do with multiple physical assaults on set!

The Huffington Post crew was actually able to get a statement from CBS confirming that Pauley did in fact raise some concerns to them about something going on in the workplace.

CBS’ statement reads like this, “Pauley Perrette had a terrific run on NCIS and we are all going to miss her. Over a year ago, Pauley came to us with a workplace concern. We took the matter seriously and worked with her to find a resolution. We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows.”

In The Wrap’s report ,they talked about how Pauley and Mark were actually no longer working together on set not even for her finale appearance this year, and the reason for this dates way back to an incident that took place onset in 2016. Apparently, Mark Harmon’s dog bit a member of the crew that eventually required 15 stitches! Pauley then objected to the dog being allowed back on the set according to multiple individuals familiar with the situation.

The Wrap’s sources claimed that this caused such great tension between Pauley and Mark to the point where the show had to come to an arrangement in which Pauley and Mark never had to be in the same location together!

Their sources said, “She did her scenes on one day ,and he did his work on other days, and they still produced a great show. It was simply scheduled that they did not work the same days.”

The Wrap and their insiders did go on to say that Pauley did not mean to imply that there was any physical abuse or sexual harassment on set ,and they added that she decided to leave “NCIS” even before the dog biting incident.

The Wrap pointed out that Mark’s dog got along with everyone on the set until October 2016 which is when the vicious bite incident took place.

They pointed out that the TMZ.com crew actually wrote an article about this dog bite incident at the time. Mark’s attorney Barry Axelrod told The Wrap he had consulted with Mark about the potential liability of the dog returning to the “NCIS” set after the bite.

Barry claims that Mark never brought the dog back to the set after the bite incident. However, some sources for The Wrap said he did. They claimed, “If he brought the dog to work, he was on a leash or in his trailer. He definitely took steps to make sure that the dog was with him and was not just roaming freely, and then he just stopped bringing him altogether.”

The Wrap went on to report that this dog issue escalated to the point where several people on the set were uncomfortable with the dog’s presence around the production after the bite, but were afraid to confront Harmon who was their boss.

However, since Pauley had enough “clout” so to speak, she was able to speak up for them. From there, things escalated even further. Their sources claim that Pauley and Mark were edited together in certain scenes in Pauley’s last season through the magic of television.

Despite all of this, Pauley did make sure to thank CBS for everything they’ve done for her. She stated, “I want to thank my studio and network CBS. They have always been so good to me and always had my back.”

So, I don’t know guys. What do you think? Do you think this crazy dog biting incident really led to Pauley’s departure? Or do you buy her story of her actually deciding to leave the show before the dog biting incident ever even took place? Let us know in the Facebook comments. Whatever the case, it definitely seems like things became quite awkward for Pauley and Mark on set.

On a much brighter note, NCIS is confirmed to return for a brand new season 16 as we previously reported. We should get more details about the premiere date and episode count in the not-to-distant future. Stay tuned.
