‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Recently Got Pretty Bad News For Certain Viewers
Hey, “Bold And The Beautiful” fans. This latest Bold And The Beautiful report involves some pretty bad news for certain viewers. It turns out that The Bold And The Beautiful will no longer be broadcasting on the Pop TV network which was formerly called the TV Guide Network. So, any of you guys who were watching it on Pop TV are fresh out of luck.
According to a recent report from the folks over at Soapcentral.com , Pop TV just decided to up and drop the “Bold And The Beautiful” from its line up during the middle of October 2018 without any real notice! Apparently, the network would air “Bold And The Beautiful” episodes on the same day they aired on CBS, but at a later time. Fans who couldn’t watch it during it’s regular 12:30 pm central standard time slot on CBS had the luxury of catching it on Pop TV later on in the day. Well, no more.
Currently, it’s not known why Pop TV decided to cut out the “Bold And The Beautiful” from its line up, but I sure can throw out a few guesses. I’m pretty sure Pop TV would’ve kept airing “The Bold And The Beautiful” if it was doing well for them. I’m guessing the viewership numbers or something along those lines dropped to far, causing them to cut the show.
They are still running the other CBS soap opera, “The Young And The Restless.” That tells me a whole lot as well. Soapcentral pointed out that Pop TV began airing “The Bold And The Beautiful” on their network way back in 2013. So, it was a good five year run.
Again, we’re still waiting to hear exact details from Pop TV as to why they decided to clip The “Bold And The Beautiful” from their line up. It’s highly possible that we may never get an official reason from Pop TV. But, I think we can read between the lines here. No network drops a show that does well for them. So, I think it’s safe to assume that The “Bold And The Beautiful” probably just wasn’t putting up the viewership or ratings numbers that they needed. There’s a slight chance we could be wrong in our assumption, but I highly doubt it.
Soapcentral did point out that the “Bold And The Beautiful” can certainly still be watched on CBS in its regular 12:30 pm central standard time slot, Monday through Friday. It can also be watched on CBS’ streaming service “All Access.” Bold And The Beautiful can also be viewed on Amazon.com’s Prime Video service.
How do you guys feel about “The Bold And The Beautiful” being dropped from the Pop TV network? Did any of you guys watch it on that network? Let us know in the Facebook comments.
In related Bold And The Beautiful news, we just recently reported that the producers are bringing on a new male for a fulltime role. It’s none other than versatile entertainer Wayne Brady! His new character will be named Dr. Buckingham. He will be the father to character Zoe Buckingham.
So, it sounds like this could give Zoe some extra screentime in the future. Wayne started filming his “Bold And The Beautiful” episodes back on Friday, October 26, 2018. His first onscreen debut will take place in the Friday, November 30, 2018 episode.
There’s currently no official details about what he’ll be up to at this time. However, there is much speculation out there. Our particular speculation is that he will at least pay Zoe some kind of a visit to get his arc started. I mean I would certainly be surprised if he didn’t. After that, it’s anybody’s guess as to how he will be integrated into the show.
I’m thinking he’ll be more of a recurring character than a series regular. However, the folks at Entertainment Weekly and their sources are saying he will be fulltime character on the show. So, we’ll see.
Wayne reportedly landed the new “Bold And The Beautiful” gig when he visited his daughter on the set. His daughter was there to portray a guest character named Tiffany. Her Tiffany character appeared on one of the show as Emma’s best friend. Tiffany warned Emma that she needs to keep her jealous streak in check because it’s starting to flare up again. I’m sure some of you guys remember that scene.
Anyways, while on set, Wayne reportedly chatted up the head writer Bradley Bell, telling him he would love to get in on the “Bold And The Beautiful” fun. He watched the show when he was a youngster. Shortly after that, it was announced that Wayne is now a fulltime character on the show. So, he and Bradley’s conversation apparently went extremely well.
Alright guys. That’s going to wrap it up for this report, but definitely stay tuned for more. We will certainly be back tomorrow to let you guys know what’s in store for Tuesday’s upcoming November 6, 2018 episode.
