Alrighty, now that we got our intense spoiler warning out of the way, let’s find out a little of what’s going to be taking place in the new episode 8. To get things started, CBS’ press release revealed that episode 8 is entitled, “Friendly Fire.” That sounds like a very appropriate title for this episode given its content, which you guys will learn in just a few seconds.
Episode 8 sounds like it will feature some pretty interesting scenes as McGee and Bishop team up to go all the way to Afghanistan for a friendly fire murder case. Kasie makes a trip into the field with agent Torres and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this teaser session with the McGee and Bishop situation. It turns out that these two are going to make the very long trip to Afghanistan in an attempt to crack a United States murder case that’s been linked to a number of soldiers that have been killed by friendly fire over there! This sounds like it could turn out to be a very dangerous trip for Bishop and McGee. So, we’re definitely intrigued. Will McGee and Bishop find what they’re looking for? That’s the huge question for this particular storyline.
The second storyline scoop reveals that the new girl Kasie is about to finally leave that lab for a change, and hit up the field with agent Torres in an attempt to get some extra, forensic evidence. CBS’ description tells us, “Kasie leaves the lab and accompanies Torres into the field to process additional, forensic evidence.”
CBS also released a new preview clip for episode 8. It mostly features agent Gibbs in action as he’s also trying to investigate this new murder of a captain. The clip starts out with Gibbs being told, “It’s my duty to get the captain home.” Gibbs replies with, “I’ll do everything I can to ensure that happens. Captain Voit is now part of an active murder investigation. Her remains will be brought into NCIS.”
They show the dead captain’s coffin being taken away and everything. It seems like this episode will feature some pretty sad and emotional scenes. You guys can view the new preview clip for episode 8 over on Youtube by Clicking Here.
