Alright, now that we’ve got our spoiler warning out of the way, let’s jump right into this. To start things off, the new episode 11 is revealed to be titled, “The Winner Takes It All.”
It sounds like episode 11 is going to feature some very intense and dramatic scenes as Catherine undergoes a major surgery! Meredith is advised to visit her ailing father immediately and more!
We’ll go ahead and start off this teaser session with the Catherine surgery situation. It turns out that Amelia and Tom Koracick will be very busy trying to perform this very difficult surgery on Catherine while Richard and Jackson sit around and hope for the best. ABC’s official description tells us, “Amelia and Koracick tackle a daunting surgery on Catherine while Richard and Jackson hope for the best.” An alternate description reads like this, “AMELIA AND KORACICK PERFORM CATHERINE’S BIG SURGERY.”
Will they successfully pull off Catherine’s very difficult surgery? That is no doubt the huge question for this particular storyline. We’ll have to wait and see.
The second storyline scoop reveals that Meredith and Richard will have a really important conversation. Richard will tell Meredith that she really needs to go visit her very sickly father as soon as possible! ABC’ description tells us, “Richard urges Meredith to visit her father, Thatcher (Jeff Perry), before his time is up.” An alternate description reads like this, “MEREDITH VISITS HER AILING FATHER.”
We know that Meredith will indeed visit her poor father at some point in this episode. So, we certainly expect this scene to be quite emotional.
ABC also released a new preview clip for episode 11. It features some pretty emotional and very intense scenes. Catherine is seen getting prepped for her difficult cancer surgery. At one point, things don’t appear to be going well for Catherine during her surgery.
