Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 Is Bringing Back Owen’s Sister Megan Hunt
Hey, Grey’s Anatomy fans. We have some pretty interesting news for you guys in this report. It turns out that the Grey’s Anatomy producers are wanting to get Owen’s sister Megan Hunt back in the mix to some degree. We’re not sure why at this point, but it’s happening.
According to the folks over at Entertainment Weekly ,Megan Hunt’s portrayer Abigail Spencer recently hit up her official Instagram account to spill the exciting news.
Abigail posted a selfie of herself smiling. She captioned it with the following words: “Red hair. Super care. Megan Hunt is baaaaack!#GreysAnatomy15.” You guys can view that post on Abigail Spencer’s official Instagram account by Clicking Here.
Entertainment Weekly pointed out that ABC is definitely keeping hush, hush about any details surrounding the return of Megan Hunt. In other words, we currently have no freaking idea why or when Megan is coming back. Hopefully, some new details will surface in the not-too-distant future. We’ll certainly keep an eye out. However, we definitely encourage you all not to hold your breath waiting for anything new to come out about Megan Hunt’s return. If ABC wants to keep it a secret, you best believe they will.
Entertainment Weekly pondered that it could possibly be about Owen and his new baby with Teddy. While that is certainly a viable guess, it is a “guess” nonetheless.
The last time Megan was spotted on the Grey’s Anatomy scene was back in season 14. At that time, we learned that Megan served in the Army as a trauma surgeon with Owen,Teddy and Nathan who is now her fiance. Megan has supposedly been off raising her son Farouk with Nathan. There’s no news of Nathan possibly returning to Grey’s Anatomy at this point in time.
Again, we don’t even know how long Megan will be sticking around. It may just be for an episode or two. Who knows? What we do know is that Abigail’s other show “Timeless” was finally canceled for good over at NBC. So, we’re assuming her schedule is free if Grey’s Anatomy wants to bring her on fulltime.

In related news, the brand new episode 17 of this current season 15 is due out this Thursday night, March 14, 2019, and it looks like it’s going to deliver some pretty shocking scenes in regards to the whole Amelia, Owen and Teddy debacle. Before we get into this, I must warn you guys that this segment does contain some light spoiler teasers.

Alright, now that we got our little spoiler warning out the way, you guys can expect to see Amelia possibly hooking up with Link. Then there’s a scene where Owen is seen telling Teddy that Amelia is officially out of the picture now as if to imply he’s a free man. So,that definitely appears to be an interesting little setup. We’ll have to see how it plays out.
