Former Bold And The Beautiful Caroline Spencer Star Lindsey Godfrey Reacted To Caroline’s Death
Hey, “Bold And The Beautiful” fans. We’ve got a bit of interesting intel to share with you guys in regards to Caroline Spencer’s recent death storyline. This obviously meant that the producers didn’t want to have her portrayer Lindsey Godfrey back, at least, not as Caroline Spencer.
According to the folks over at Soapcentral.com, Lindsey hit up one of her social media accounts to give her thoughts on what she thought about The Bold And The Beautiful producers killing off her character.
She took it pretty well stating, “Hi Everyone. So, I just got back from Caroline’s funeral..it was beautiful. It appears it’s time to say goodbye to our Caroline Spencer. I just want to first say a huge thank you to Brad Bell and the entire Bold and the Beautiful family.
I truly adored every aspect of the wacky, feisty, sassy Caroline. I loved my time at Bold! Don’t be sad, even though she is gone, I promise Brad and the writers have some awesome drama up their sleeves for you! Thank you for all your support and love over the years! Don’t worry. I hear Caroline has a brunette doppelgänger over in Salem. Might be worth investigating.”

Soapcentral pointed out that Lindsey joined The Bold And The Beautiful way back in 2012. Since that time, she received three consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations beginning in 2014. She was first nominated for the Younger Actress category. Later on in 2015 and 2016, she received nominations in the Supporting Actress categories.
The last time Lindsey appeared on the Bold And The Beautiful was when her character Caroline returned briefly to attempt smothering her uncle Bill Spencer to death in the hospital. Don’t feel sorry for Lindsey though. She’s currently a very busy actress on another soap opera “Days Of Our Lives” as character Sarah Horton.
