Big Brother Season 19 Mark Jansen & Elena Davies Hopped In Bed Again After Their Break Up
Hey, fellow “Big Brother” fans. We’ve got some more alumni news for you guys in this article. It’s in regards to the ongoing romance saga that former Big Brother season 19 houseguests Mark Jansen and Elena Davies have created as of late.
You guys remember these two, right? They were apart of one of the most lame casts who eventually just followed returning houseguest Paul Abrahamian to their demise back in the summer of 2017. Yeah, that group.
Anyways, we previously reported a couple months ago that Mark and Elena had split up after dating for I don’t know. Maybe a year and a couple months. Something like that. We posted Mark’s side of the story first. He basically said that Elena was just too negative for him, and that he had to just move on.
Then in another article, we posted Elena’s side of the tale. She agreed that she could not be everything Mark needed, but that she loved him dearly. She also said she was very sad about their break-up.
Now, fast-forward to just recently on May 24, 2019. Both Mark and Elena hit up their official Instagram accounts to post separate photos of them laying in the same bed! This, of course, sparked reconciliation rumors across the beloved Big Brother community.
In Mark’s Instagram post, he posted a photo of him in the same bed that Elena was in. He captioned it with the words: “Time for this teddy bear to come out of hibernation.” You guys can view that post on Mark’s official Instagram account by Clicking Here.
Elena posted a photo of her in bed with the caption: “If you’re reading this, I’m sleeping.” You guys can view that post on Elena’s official Instagram account by Clicking Here.
Accordingto the folks over on Popculture.com, Elena came out and addressed these recent Instagram photos on her podcast show called, “MiscELENAeous.” She did admit that she reconnected with Mark. However, they are not officially back together as a full blown couple. She did say that she loves Mark very much too. Awww.
She stated, “I know rumors are circulating heavily again due to our Instagram posts. Unfortunately, I am going to leave you a little bit unsatisfied. I cannot and absolutely will not speak on behalf of Mark, but what I will say is this. I do love him very, very much still. I know that I have some self-growth and reflecting to do before I could enter any kind of relationship.”
Popculture.com also revealed that rumors surfaced in the Big Brother community, accusing Elena and Mark of posting these recent Instagram photos just to get attention. Elena addressed those accusations during her podcast as well.
She stated, “You can just ask my mom who watched me lay in bed and cry off and on for three months. We are not seeking attention. I have appreciated and loved all of you who have loved and supported us and I would never take advantage of that. I would never manipulate you guys in any sort of way. Everything that has happened, has not been fabricated in any sort of way.”
Popculture.com capped off their article by pointing out that Mark and Elena did date for nearly two years before splitting up this past March 2019. Before they broke up, Mark apparently uprooted his whole life and moved to Dallas,Texas to shack up with Elena.
Mark made a very positive statement to Us Weekly about Elena back in February 2018 saying, “I love everything about Elena. She is an enigma. She has depth and she challenges me on so many levels. Never in my life have I been this happy.”
Elena also made some very nice comments about Mark stating, “I could speak for hours about all the things I love about him but I think what stands out most to me is the way that he makes me feel. The way he loves me is extraordinary, and he somehow erases all of my insecurities and makes me feel like I actually deserve him.”
