Instinct Spoilers For Season 2, August 25, 2019 Finale Episode 11 Revealed
Hey, “Instinct” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed tonight’s back-to-back episodes 9 and 10 of this 2nd season. Now that they’re officially done and in the history books, it’s time to see what the next, new episode 11 will have in store for you guys.
It’s the series finale episode. That’s right, guys. It is sadly the “series” finale because CBS just announced ,two days ago, that they will not be giving “Instinct” a new season 3. So, this episode 11 is it, guys. This is the swan song episode. Savor every minute of it.
As usual, CBS delivered a couple of teaser descriptions for episode 11 via their press release. So, we will be using it for this spoiler session.
To get things started, the series finale episode 11 was given a title. It’s officially named, “Grey Matter.” It sounds like episode 11 will feature some very serious, interesting and possible dramatic scenes as Dylan and Lizzie investigate a terrible murder of a young man.
Andy gets one of Dylan’s students out of a serious bind. Lizzie decides to make a new change and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the murder investigation situation. It turns out that Lizzie and Dylan will, once again, have their hands full with yet another murder investigation.
This one will be quite gruesome. Someone will discover that a young man was killed after they find his body floating in a city pond. CBS’ official description tells us, “A gruesome discovery in a city pond leads Dylan and Lizzie to investigate a young man’s murder.”
What new and final adventure will this murder investigation take Dylan and Lizzie on? That’s a big question for this particular plotline. We’ll definitely have to wait and see.
It sounds like this storyline could feature some pretty serious and intense scenes for you guys to look forward to. So, be on the lookout for that in this “Instinct” finale episode of all time.
The second spoiler teaser reveals that Andy is going to do a very nice deed in this episode. You see, one of Dylan’s students is going to get caught up some pretty serious-sounding legal troubles at some point.
Andy is going to step in and rescue Dylan’s student from this pretty sticky situation. CBS’ description tells us, “Andy rescues one of Dylan’s students from a legal bind.”
What is this legal bind and what does it entail? Those are some big questions for this particular storyline. It sounds like it could deliver some semi-interesting scenes. We’ll have to wait and see what this legal issue is.
Lastly, we’ve got a third spoiler scoop. It reveals that we’re going to see Lizzie want to embrace more adventure in her life after one of Dylan and Julian’s old friends returns to the scene. CBS’ description tells us,”An old friend of Dylan and Julian’s reappears, and Lizzie decides to embrace adventure.”
What type of adventure will Lizzie embrace? Who is the old friend that returns? Those are some important questions for this particular plotline. This is another storyline that sounds like it could feature some pretty interesting scenes.
One thing that is for sure is the producers will need to quickly wrap this storyline up in a nice, neat little bow because this is it for good.
I imagine this episode was probably shot before the producers learned the show was canceled. So hopefully, they took the possibility on cancellation into consideration when they filmed it.

Episode 11 will feature a couple of recurring stars. They are: Michael B. Silver as character (Det. Kanter Harris), Danny Mastrogiorgio as character (Det. Anthony Fucci), Stephen Rider as character (Zack Clark), John Mainieri as character (Det. Jimmy Marino) and Travis Van Winkle as character (Det. Ryan Stock).
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 11 are: Alan Cumming as character (Dr. Dylan Reinhart), Bojana Novakovic as character (Det. Lizzie Needham), Daniel Ings as character (Andy), Naveen Andrews as character (Julian Cousins) and Sharon Leal as character (Lt. Jasmine Gooden).
Episode 11 was written and directed by the Executive Producer Michael Rauch. CBS’ press release confirmed that episode 11 is indeed scheduled to air next Sunday night, August 25, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
