‘America’s Got Talent’ August 28, 2019 Eliminated 5 Quarterfinals 3 Acts (Recap)
Hey, “America’s Got Talent” fans. Tonight, August 28, 2019, another results/elimination episode did indeed air. The judges: Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough and Simon Cowell were, of course, on hand.
Tonight’s results show kicked off with a brief recap of last night’s performances. Shortly after that, host Terry Crews got right down to business by revealing that comedian Jackie Fabulous, Lukas & Falco and Marcin Patrzalek were the 6th, 7th and 8th place vote getters. That meant they were subjected to the Dunkin’ Save live vote in order to stay in the competition.
Right after that, Terry revealed that the Detroit Youth Choir made it to the semifinals, and Gonzo was eliminated.
Next,the cast of Celestia, which is a new Las Vegas act, hit the stage to do a special performance. Their act also featured favorite AGT contestants: “AGT: The Champions” finalist Deadly Games, father-daughter acrobatic duo Sergey and Sasha and Sandou Trio Russian Bar.
Shortly after that, Terry revealed that Emmane Beasha was safe and through to the semifinals. Berywam was eliminated. Next, Terry revealed that magician Eric Chien made it through to the semifinals. Julienne told Eric, “Stay true to who you are.”
From there, Terry revealed that Dom Chambers made it through to the semifinals, and Matthew Richardson was eliminated. Gabrielle said, “There is room for both magicians Eric Chien and Dom Chambers to succeed.” Dom said, “I hope so.”
Next, Terry revealed that Benicio Bryant made it through to the semifinals and Mackenzie was eliminated.
Right after that,it was time for the Dunkin’ Save live voting results for the 6th, 7th and 8th place vote getters: comedian Jackie Fabulous, Lukas & Falco and Marcin Patrzalek. Terry revealed that Jackie Fabulous won it. So, she’s through to the semifinals. Howie said, “I’m happy comics are going far!”
Next, the judges got the opportunity to use their “save” to rescue either Marcin Patrzalek or Lukas & Falco. It was immediately revealed that Howie voted for Marcin Patrzalek, Gabrielle voted for Marcin Patrzalek and Simon voted for Marcin Patrzalek. Poor Julianne Hough never even got a chance to vote.
So, that meant Marcin Patrzalek made it through to the semifinals, and poor Lukas & Falco were eliminated.
So, just to recap, all the acts moving on to the semifinals tonight are: the Detroit Youth Choir, Emmane Beasha, magician Eric Chien, Dom Chambers, Benicio Bryant, comedian Jackie Fabulous and Marcin Patrzalek.
The acts that were eliminated tonight are: Gonzo, Berywam, Matthew Richardson, Mackenzie and Lukas & Falco.
The next, new episode is scheduled to air on Tuesday night, September 3, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on NBC. It will feature the first Semifinals performances. It will also feature a judge’s wildcard and a guest judge.
Then on Wednesday night, September 4, 2019, we will see another elimination/results show where more acts will get eliminated. It’s scheduled to start at 7 pm central standard time as well.
