‘Survivor’ December 4, 2019 Voted Off Karishma Patel (Recap)
Hey, “Survivor” fans. Tonight, December 4, 2019, another new episode did indeed air, and another unlucky contestant was sent packing during one of the craziest tribal council meetings I’ve ever seen.
Tonight’s show kicked off with all the remaining contestants getting to be reunited with one of their loved ones for a moment. Lauren’s husband Matt showed up. Tommy was reunited with his girlfriend Nicole.
Karishma’s husband Drew arrived, and Karishma couldn’t stop crying when she saw him claiming, “I’ve been so misunderstood out here. It’s so nice to see someone who loves me.”
Noura was reunited with her sister Lana. Janet’s husband John came to give Janet a big hug. Dean’s mother Lauren arrived. Dan got to see his son Ryan, and Elaine’s girlfriend Tonya was there.
Needless to say, this was a very emotional segment of the show. After all that was done, host Jeff Probst introduced the Reward Challenge.
In it, the contestants were tethered to another tribemember, and they had to make it through an obstacle course. Once they completed the obstacle course, they had to toss a stuffed animal onto a platform without it falling off for the win.
Janet and Tommy pulled out the Reward Challenge win. Their reward was a chance to spend more time with their loved ones and food. Tommy and Janet got to invite two other people to join them. They picked Dan and Lauren.
At the reward dinner, Janet started campaigning for Elaine to go next. Dan, Lauren and Tommy all agreed.
Back at the camp, Noura was super pissed that she didn’t get picked to go to the reward dinner. So, she went on a major rant about how much she doesn’t like Dan, Tommy and Lauren, and she thinks they’re going to eventually pick everyone off.
Noura told Dean,Karishma and Elaine she’s willing to vote Lauren out because she’s getting played by them. After that, they all went searching for a hidden immunity idol, and Elaine ended up finding it.
Next, was the immunity challenge. In it, they had to stand on one foot on a wooden platform and hold a ball into place on an apparatus that was hanging above them. If they dropped the ball, they lost. The last one holding that ball in place, won.
It came down to Lauren and Elaine, and Lauren pulled out the win. So, Lauren was safe from elimination at this tribal council.
Lauren’s win definitely caused a change in plans. A decision to split the votes between Elaine and Karishama was made with Karishma being the target. This decision was made by Tommy, Dan and Lauren.
Noura told the private cams she didn’t like how much power Tommy, Dan and Lauren have. Noura told Karishma about their plan. From there, Noura, Elaine and Karisha talked about voting out Tommy. They also brought Dean in on it.
However, both Elaine and Dean expressed much worry to the private cams about Noura’s mental stability in sticking with a plan. Surely enough, Noura started proving Elaine and Dean right by expressing a lot of doubts in the plan to Dean.
Dean tried to tell Noura, “You can’t worry about every little thing that could go wrong or else you’ll drive yourself crazy,” but that’s exactly what Noura did. Dean told the private cams,”I don’t know if Noura is going to stick to this very easy plan” heading into tribal council.
At tribal council, Dean and Tommy started whispering about Noura. Dean told Tommy he was a target. Noura noticed Dean and Tommy whispering. Then everyone started whispering until Noura decided to explode and just rat everybody out.
This tribal council turned into a complete mess. I’ve never seen anything like it. Wow!
Tommy came to the conclusion that Noura was going to vote him out just before the voting took place. Noura tried to deny it, but Tommy wasn’t buying it since she never said anything before the tribal council began. Dean was seen telling Elaine of Noura,”I knew we couldn’t trust her.”
After all of that mess, Elaine played her immunity idol just before Jeff revealed the votes, and here’s what happened. Noura received 3 votes, and Karishma got 5 votes. So, by a vote of 5-3, Karishma was indeed voted off the island in this episode.
I was shocked at that vote. I thought, for sure, they were going to go ahead and get rid of Noura after all that drama that took place. They must have really wanted to make sure they got rid of Karishma before she could get dragged to the end.

it’s about damn time. So tired of her whining and lame play
Nah, Tommy didn’t come to some spontaneous conclusion that he was in danger–$%*& Dean snitched to Tommy and ruined a great blindside.You could see even Jeff was disappointed. Noura would have held it together if she didn’t see Dean being a rat. It was such a dumb move on Deans part. They aren’t going to let him weasel his way in, not really. Dan is such a jerk the way he ironically looks down on the “misfit losers” (in front of his kid no less) and Tommy, Lauren and Janet are fine with it. Tommy, as a 4th grade teacher, and wtf Grandma Janet! Then, when they had proof that Noura double crossed them, they still voted Karishma out! Although Dean was willing to vote however they say, sitting there openly kissing their keysters trying to take Noura’s place at the bottom of their group. 2nd dumbest thing I’ve seen at a tribal council in a long time.
