‘Law And Order SVU’ Season 21, December 5, 2019 Episode 10 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “Law And Order: Special Victims Unit” fans. Unfortunately, we have some very bad news for you guys in this article. It turns out that your favorite show is currently in the midst of a pretty long hiatus due to it being on a Fall Break.
The last episode 9 of this current 21st season was indeed the Fall finale episode. It aired back on November 21, 2019. Anyways, this all means that the next, new episode 10 will not be airing tonight, December 5, 2019.
No, no, no. Instead, you guys will have to wait until Thursday night, January 9, 2020 to see the new episode 10. So, definitely be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars.
So, what is NBC airing instead of “Law And Order: Special Victims Unit” tonight? Well, according to the TV guide listings, NBC is airing a new show called “Making It.” The name of tonight’s episode is called, “Wreathy Street.” It’s the 3rd episode of its second season.
NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “The Makers celebrate the holidays with Nick and Amy. First, in the Faster Craft, they will make a wreath out of unconventional materials.
In the Master Craft they will build an interactive lawn display, showcasing their favorite holiday.”
Then next Thursday night, December 12,2019, NBC is going to air a new Christmas special called,”A LEGENDARY CHRISTMAS WITH JOHN AND CHRISSY.”
NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “John Legend and Chrissy Teigen celebrate the season of joy and laughter alongside the couple’s family and talented celebrity friends; Legend performs a selection of songs from his 2018 holiday album “A Legendary Christmas.”
Beyond those two dates, we don’t know what NBC will air in “Law And Order: SVU’s” 9 pm central standard time slot because TV guide doesn’t show listings beyond the immediate two weeks.
If any of those shows seem enticing to any of you, you might still want to tune in to NBC. If they aren’t, we can guarantee you’ll want to find something else to do or watch until January 9, 2020 when Law And Order: SVU comes back.
We do have a bit of good news for the next, new episode 10 of Law And Order: SVU. It turns out that NBC did release a preview clip for it. We must warn you that it does contain light spoiler teasers. If you don’t like spoilers, you’ll want to skip this part.
If you don’t mind seeing spoilers, by all means please stick around. Ok, now that our spoiler warning is out of the way, let’s take a look at this new episode 10 preview clip.
To start, it looks very intense indeed. Amanda is seen being held at gun point! Her captor tells her, “I’ve been a cop half my life. Anything you try, I’m one step ahead.”
After that, the clip cuts to Olivia saying, “Captain Benson. This is an emergency.” From there, the clip cuts to a series of scenes that ends with Amanda in serious, life-threatening danger! You guys can view the new preview clip for episode 10 over on Youtube by Clicking Here.
The ratings and LIVE viewership numbers for Law And Order: SVU’s current 21st season appear to be on the low side, but this show is able to get away with it.
It’s currently averaging 3.673 million LIVE viewers per episode with a 0.67 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The last episode 9 brought in 3.813 million LIVE viewers and a 0.66 ratings score.
While those aren’t the greatest numbers, they do hold pretty steady for this show, and maybe that’s strong enough for this NBC network. It just seems low in comparison to some of their other shows.
Currently, NBC hasn’t yet renewed “Law And Order: SVU” for a 22nd season, but it is still very early. So, we’ll wait and see.
Again, NBC confirmed that episode 10 is scheduled to air on Thursday night, January 9, 2019 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
