‘The Good Doctor’ Spoilers For Season 3, January 20, 2020 Episode 12 Revealed

Hey, “The Good Doctor” fans. We hope you guys thoroughly enjoyed the last episode 11. Now that it’s officially in the history books, we thought we’d go ahead and slide in here with a couple of new spoiler scoops for the next,new episode 12.

We were able to acquire a couple of teaser descriptions for episode 12 via ABC’s official press release for episode 12. We think you might like them. And if you don’t, that’s ok too. It’s not our fault, right?

Anyways, we’ve also got some new preview photos and a new preview clip for episode 12 to discuss with you. We’re also going to give you guys a link to them like we always do. So, let’s just do this already.

For starters, we’ve learned that the official title for episode 12 is called, “Mutations.” It sounds like episode 12 will feature some pretty intense, dramatic,interesting and emotional scenes as things get really bad for a 25 year old runner.

Two 16 year old kids get cancer. Shaun and Carly are still trying to figure out how to sleep together and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the 25 year old runner situation. It turns out that Audrey, Shaun and Morgan will indeed have their hands full in this episode when a 25 year old runner has a case of major swelling that only gets even worse! In light of this very unfortunate condition, Shaun will get Carly on the case.

ABC official description for this 25 year old runner storyline reads like this, “Dr. Audrey Lim, Dr. Shaun Murphy and Dr. Morgan Reznick treat a 25-year-old runner suffering from severe swelling; but when things take a turn for the worse, Dr. Shaun Murphy enlists the help of Dr. Carly Lever.”

Will Carly come up with the magic answers for this poor athlete’s swelling condition? Gosh, we certainly hope so because it sounds awfully horrific. Definitely expect to see some possible intense and dramatic scenes gets served up in this storyline when January 20,2020 rolls around.

The second spoiler scoop reveals that Alex, Claire and Neil will also have their hands extremely full when they have to treat not one but two cancer patients who are just 16 years of age. Not only that, these two young ones just happen to be dating each other.

ABC’s description tells us, “Dr. Alex Park, Dr. Claire Browne and Dr. Neil Melendez treat two 16-year-old cancer patients who are dating.”

Will the doctors be able to give these two young people a bright future to look forward to? That’s a big question for this particular plotline. We’ll definitely have to wait and see. Whatever the case, we think this storyline will certainly provide some pretty emotional scenes. So, get ready for all of that to play out.

The 3rd and last teaser description lets us know that Shaun and Carly will most certainly continue their quest to finally be successful in bed. ABC’s description for this possible awkward scenario reads like this, “Dr. Shaun Murphy and Dr. Carly Lever work toward intimacy.”

Will Shaun and Carly finally get over this road block in their relationship? That’s a pretty big question for this ongoing storyline. It’s possible that we could see some more drama play out with this storyline if Shaun can’t get his act together. We’ll see what happens.

The new preview photos for episode 12 feature Morgan in a scene with Aaron. These two are having some sort of a conversation in this scene. Shaun and Carly are, of course, spotted in a new scene together while at work.

Shaun and Morgan are seen in a pretty intense-looking operation scene with the runner. Audrey is also seen with Morgan in a few of the pics as they tend to the runner’s emergency condition.

The new preview clip for episode 12 features some very intense scenes just like we imagined. Shaun is seen rushing to the care of the runner saying, “I need an ultrasound.” Next,the clip cuts to Carly saying, “If you don’t find a medication, he’ll drown from the inside.”

Next, Shaun is seen telling Carly, “This is exciting. Working together.” Carly says of the runner, “He might die. This is why I like to stay in the lab.”

The clip caps off with Shaun saying to Carly, “You said that things were ok. They aren’t!” Yep, things look really intense and dramatic in this episode. You guys can view the new preview clip for episode 12 over on Youtube by Clicking here.

Episode 12 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Elfina Luk as character Nurse Villanueva, David Iacono as character Ryan, Kaare Anderson as character Doug, Alyssa Jirrels as character Angie, Thomas Cadrot as character James McDougal, Brigid Brannagh as character Elise and Caitlin Stryker as character Marjorie.

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 12 are: Freddie Highmore as character Dr. Shaun Murphy, Antonia Thomas as character Dr. Claire Browne, Nicholas Gonzalez as character Dr. Neil Melendez, Hill Harper as character Dr. Marcus Andrews.

Season regulars continued: Richard Schiff as character Dr. Aaron Glassman, Christina Chang as character Dr. Audrey Lim, Fiona Gubelmann as character Dr. Morgan Reznick, Will Yun Lee as character Dr. Alex Park, Paige Spara as character Lea Dilallo and Jasika Nicole as character Dr. Carly Lever.

Episode 12 was written by Liz Friedman and Tracy Taylor, and it was directed by Nestor Carbonell. ABC’s press released confirmed that episode 12 is indeed scheduled to air on Monday night, January 20, 2020 at approximately 9 pm central standard time. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu.
