‘Evil’ Season 1, January 23, 2020 Finale Episode 13 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “Evil” fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some bad news for you guys tonight, January 23, 2020. It turns out that your favorite show “Evil” is taking a break before they air their big season 1 finale episode 13. That means CBS will not be airing the new episode 13 tonight.
No, no, no. Instead, you guys will have to wait until next Thursday night, January 30, 2020 to see the 13th episode. It will air in its usual 9 pm central standard time slot on CBS of course. So, be sure to mark down that very important date, asap.
So what will CBS be airing instead of “Evil” tonight? According to the TV Guide listings, CBS is airing an interview special that’s called, “THE GAYLE KING GRAMMY SPECIAL.”
CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “CBS News’ Gayle King goes one-on-one in a series of intimate interviews with today’s biggest hit-makers for as they prep for the 2020 Grammys including Billie Eilish, Jonas Brothers, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, Lizzo, and Lil Nas X.”
If that special sounds interesting to any of you, you might still want to watch CBS tonight. If not, you will most certainly want to find something else to watch or do.
With all of that said, we did get a hold of some new information for the upcoming finale episode 13 of “Evil.” CBS served up an official press release for it.
We must tell you that it does contain light spoiler teasers. So, if you don’t like spoilers, we highly suggest that you close out of this article faster than you can blink.
For those of you who don’t mind reading spoilers, we definitely want you to stick around to see what’s coming in the next, new episode 13.
Alright, now that we’ve gotten our spoiler warning out of the way, let’s dive right into this new episode 13 press release. For starters, it lets us know that episode 13 is officially named/titled, “Book 27.”
It sounds like the new episode 13 will feature some very interesting, possible intense and dramatic scenes.
In the new season 1 finale episode 13, a pregnant woman is going to make claims that the twin babies she’s carrying are evil! In light of this, Kristen , David and Ben will attempt to assess whether or not this woman is possessed or not.
As their investigation continues, they will get led to a fertility clinic, which turns out to be very special because this particular clinic will serve up a connection to all of their previous encounters they’ve experienced this season.
Also, we will see Kristen start to question if one of her daughters could be evil since she used that same fertility clinic.
CBS’ official description for episode 13 reads like this, “David, Kristen and Ben assess whether a pregnant woman is possessed when she claims one of the twins she’s carrying is evil.
Their investigation leads to a fertility clinic where they discover a connection to all of their encounters throughout the season. Also, Kristen questions one of her daughters’ capacity for evil upon realizing that she also used that fertility clinic.”
Episode 13 will feature quite a few guest stars. They are: Euan Morton as character (George’s Voice), Michael Cerveris as character (Devil Therapist V. O.), Darren Pettie as character (Orson Leroux), Samaria Nixon-Fleming as character (Robin), Kristen Connolly as character (Mira Byrd).
Guest stars continued: Laura Heisler as character (Eleanor Chakris), Patrick Page as character (Father Luke), Steve Routman as character (Dr. Collin Marks), Ann Sanders as character (Dr. Samantha Shepard), Mandi Masden as character (Receptionist Patina) and Jane Dashow as character (Beefy Nun).
Episode 13 will feature one recurring star. That one person is: Marti Matulis as character (George IV/Therapist/Devil)
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 13 are: Katja Herbers as character (Kristen Bouchard), Mike Colter as character (David Acosta), Aasif Mandvi as character (Ben Shakir), Michael Emerson as character (Leland Townsend), Christine Lahti as character (Sheryl Luria),Kurt Fuller as character (Dr. Boggs), Brooklyn Shuck as character (Lynn Bouchard), Skylar Gray as character (Lila Bouchard), Maddy Crocco as character (Lexis Bouchard) and Dalya Knapp as character (Laura Bouchard).
Episode 13 was written by Patrick Ione Lloyd,and it was directed by Michael Zinberg. Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that the season 1 finale episode 13 is scheduled to air next Thursday night, January 30, 2020 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
Also, for those of you who are wondering, CBS already gave “Evil” an early renewal. So, it will be back for a brand new season 2! We’ll have to dish up more details on the logistics of it at a later date because all we know,right now, is that it’s renewed.
