The Bachelor February 3, 2020 Eliminated Lexi, Shiann, Deandra, Kiarra, Savannah,Alayah (Recap)
Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, February 3, 2020, a new, huge 3 hour episode did indeed air, and it featured even more drama if that’s even possible. Multiple ladies got sent home. It was wild.
Tonight’s episode kicked off with the women still bickering back and forth at the cocktail party about Alayah’s return. At one point, Peter finally took Alayah to the side to talk 1 on 1 with her.
He told her, “I think you’re a good person with an amazing heart. We had an amazing and strong connection. However, with everything that’s happened, this is too much. I don’t want to put you through anymore of this. It’s time to say goodbye.”
After that, Peter walked Alayah out to the exit vehicle. At this point, Alayah sort of expressed that she agreed with how crazy this has gotten, but she was still very visibly upset that she had to leave.
Next, Peter came back and told the women, “Alayah was not the one that’s meant for me, and I do know what I want.”
Then Peter pulled Natasha aside to talk 1 on 1 with her. He told her,”I’m surprised you’re still around after all of that. I’m so sorry.” That definitely got Natasha laughing and smiling.
Natasha said, “I didn’t really have a problem with Alayah. She was just taking time away from us getting to know you.”
Peter talked 1 on 1 with a couple of the other girls. The conversations seemed to go well. He kissed a few of them and so on and so forth.
Finally, Peter did the rose ceremony for this round. He gave Madison, Sydney, Natasha, Lexi, Hannah Ann, Shiann, MyKenna, Victoria P, Kelley and Tammy a rose. That meant poor Deandra, Kiarra and Savannah were left standing roseless and eliminated.
After they said their goodbyes, Peter told his remaining ladies, “We’re going to Costa Rica!” Once the girls arrived to meet Peter in Costa Rica, he showed up with a bandaged cut on his forehead.
Of course, the women wanted to know what the hell happened. Peter explained that he got the cut from running into a golf cart after telling them a fake story about wrestling with a Puma.
Next, Peter took Sydney on a 1 on 1 date. They took a helicopter ride to view various parts of the jungle area out there. They definitely appeared to have a good time. They kissed at one point during the helicopter ride.
After the helicopter ride, Peter and Sydney talked about their backgrounds and so on and so forth. At one point, he told Sydney that she’s mysterious, but it’s sexy. They flirted a lot and kissed a lot.
During the second half of Peter and Sydney’s date, Sydney told Peter how she got bullied in high school over her ethnicity. Peter definitely liked how Sydney opened up to him. They kissed afterwards, and he gave her a rose. Then they went to kiss and have a very long make out session by the water.
Kelsey started getting real upset about seeing Sydney go on a 1 on 1 date with Peter. She complained to Tammy about it while getting drunk. Then Tammy went and talked crap about Kelsey behind her back.
Next, Peter took Shiann, Kelsey, Victoria F, Madison, Natasha, Victoria P, Lexi, Hannah H, Tammy and Mykenna out on a group date. They went to do a photo shoot for Cosmopolitan Magazine’s March 2020 issue.
All the girls posed with Peter in various shots, and they picked one girl they thought did the best. That girl got to pose solo with Peter for a featured shoot. During the photo shoots, Hannah Ann and Victoria F kissed Peter. Kelsey got really ticked off when she saw that.
Victoria F ended up winning the feature to shoot with Peter. During the featured photo shoot, Peter and Victoria F did a whole lot of kissing, which made Kelsey even more heated.
During the afterparty, Peter and Victoria flirted and kissed some more. Hannah Ann and Peter also flirted and kissed. Meanwhile, Kelsey started getting more and more pissed about seeing Peter with the other girls.
Kelsey eventually told Peter, “It’s scary for me because I’m really falling in love with you.” After that, Peter gave Kelsey a kiss and reassured her he hasn’t forgotten about her.
At this same time, Tammy, Victoria F, Natasha and the other girls were seen talking about how crazy they think Kelsey is. Tammy got real pissed when Victoria F said Kelsey called all the other girls fake.
Then Tammy ran off to complain to Peter about Kelsey. Tammy told Peter that Kelsey was drinking and crying about him taking Sydney on a 1 on 1 date. Tammy told Peter that Kelsey had a mental breakdown. This caused Peter to pulled Kelsey aside again to talk to her about her possibly having a mental breakdown.
Peter told Kelsey he heard it from someone and didn’t mention any names. Kelsey denied having a mental breakdown and said she was just sad over him going on a 1 on 1 date with Sydney. Peter expressed that he was just concerned because this isn’t going to get any easier.
After that, Kelsey immediately went back to the other girls and said,”So, do we want to talk about who said I was emotionally unstable? I’m not afraid to cry in front of people. That doesn’t mean I’m emotionally unstable.
Just mind your own f@#kin business. I don’t talk about other relationships when I’m with him.” Shortly after that, Peter joined the girls to give Hannah Ann the group date rose.
Next, Peter took the lawyer girl Kelley out on a 1 on 1 date. They went for a walk in the woods, and they did some special activities with Shamans. Peter told the private cams, “I need to see a lot from Kelley because our relationship has plateaued.”
Peter kept saying he’s feeling like he’s giving more to he and Kelley’s relationship than she is.
During the second half of Peter and Kelley’s 1 on 1 date, Peter told Kelley about his concerns saying, “I need to know your heart is in this.” Kelley agreed that their relationship has plateaued.
She said, “I haven’t had any opportunities to progress this, but things will change from this point forward. I really am serious about this. I’m looking for someone to challenge me. I would like to get engaged to you if we can get to that point. We’re not there yet.”
Apparently, that was good enough for Peter because he did give Kelley a rose. After that, they kissed.
Next, Tammy kept complaining about Kelsey and saying Peter needs to send her back to where the hell Iowa is.
Kelsey went to complain to Peter about all the horrible things Tammy’s been saying about her. She went on to say it was hurtful. Peter said he was so sorry to hear that. He gave her comforting words and said, “I’m glad to see you.”
Then they hugged and kissed. He gave her a rose saying, “I don’t need a rose ceremony to see how I feel about you.” Of course, Kelsey accepted the rose ,and they kissed some more.
Kelsey went back and told the rest of the girls about the conversation she just had with Peter, and that was a very awkward moment. The girls didn’t really say anything back to her in that moment.
However, Kelley told the private cams she thought it was unfair that Kelsey got to spend time with Peter just before the rose ceremony.
Host Chris Harrison told the girls Peter decided he already knows what he wants, and there’s no need for a rose ceremony.
This caused the other girls to confront Kelsey because they thought her conversation with Peter was the reason there was no cocktail party.
Kelsey told Tammy, “I told Peter you said I had a drinking problem and a pill problem.” Tammy immediately denied saying anything about pills. Then she contradicted herself. She admitted to saying something about pills because she heard it from someone else. Then the other girls jumped in and told Tammy she shouldn’t have done that.
Tammy and Sydney got into a big fight because Sydney started accusing Tammy of doing the same thing she did to Alayah. Tammy called her on it. Sydney said it was not the same thing. Then Tammy got real angry and told Sydney she’s full of crap and is always rolling with a posse. After that, Sydney told Tammy,”You’re crazy, yo!.”
Mykenna really started crying about not being able to talk to Peter. She was very upset. Just before Peter started to hand out the roses, Tammy asked Peter if she could talk to him for a second. During their conversation, Tammy told Peter what she said about Kelsey was not from a malicious place.
Then MyKenna interrupted them. She told Peter,”All the drama has broke me down.” Tammy and Mykenna really pissed off the other girls, especially Lexi. Lexi told them, “You got to have your own mini cocktail party in the middle of a rose ceremony. Yes, I’m very upset about it.”
Finally, Peter came back and told the girls. “I need you to trust me. I’m following my heart.” From there, Peter gave: Victoria F, Madison, Natasha, Victoria P, MyKenna and Tammy a rose to join Sydney, Kelley, Hannah Ann and Kelsey who received roses earlier in the show.
This meant poor Lexi and Shiann didn’t get a rose and were eliminated. Shiann gave Peter a warning on her way out saying, “What you’re seeing from some of the girls is not who they really are. Be careful.”
So, just to recap, Lexi, Shiann, Deandra, Kiarra, Savannah and Alayah got eliminated during this huge, 3 hour episode.
The next, new episode of The Bachelor season 24 is scheduled to air this Wednesday night, February 5, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on ABC of course. This one will last for just the regular 2 hours. Thank God. 3 hour recaps are a lot of work.
