‘NCIS’ Season 17, March 17, 2020 Episode 18 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, NCIS fans. Unfortunately, we had to jump on here real quick because we’ve just learned that CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 18 of NCIS’ current season 17 tonight, March 17, 2020. Yeah, for some reason, it’s just not gonna happen for you guys tonight.

The good news is this delay will only be for this week. We have official confirmation from CBS that the new episode 18 will indeed air next Tuesday night, March 24, 2020 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to definitely remember that very important date and time.

So, what is CBS airing instead of the brand new episode 18 of NCIS’ current season 17 tonight? According to the TV guide listings, CBS will still air NCIS. It just won’t be a new episode. They are airing a repeat of episode 2 of this current season 17. It’s titled, “Into The Light.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “With their lives in danger, Gibbs and Ziva’s rogue investigation takes an unexpected turn when a possible terrorist plot is revealed.”

If any of you guys happened to have missed episode 2 when it originally aired this season, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight to catch it. If not,you will certainly want to get some new plans whipped up rather quickly.

With all that said, we do have some new intel for the next, new episode 18 of NCIS’ current season 17 via CBS’ new press release for episode 18. We are going to certainly go over that with you guys. However, we must warn you that it does contain light spoiler teasers.

So, if you’re opposed to spoilers in any way, shape or form, we highly suggest you exit this article immediately. On the other hand, if you like and enjoy reading spoilers, we’d love to have you stick around for the remainder of this article.

Now that our spoiler warning is out there, let’s dive into this new episode 18 press release. First off, it let’s us know that episode 18 is officially titled, “Schooled.”

It sounds like episode 18 will feature some interesting, possible intense, dramatic and action-filled scenes.

In the new episode 18, another dead body is going to show up in a lake where a very popular community event takes place. The corpse will belong to a Navy technician that was in the Reserves.

This wasn’t just any technician either. Apparently, he was very well-regarded. In light of this awful event, The NCIS crew will certainly launch another huge investigation to find out just what in the hell happened to this highly-regarded technician.

Elsewhere, Sloane’s daughter Faith will get some spotlight in this episode. At some point, Faith will hit up Sloane with a very shocking request. This request will be so startling that it will throw Sloane for a loop!

CBS’ official description for episode 18 reads like this, “The team searches for answers when the body of a well-regarded Navy technician in the Reserves is found floating in a lake where a popular community event is being held.

Also, Sloane is caught off-guard when her daughter, Faith (Kate Hamilton), makes an unexpected request.”

An alternate description reads like this, “THE TEAM INVESTIGATES THE DEATH OF A WELL-REGARDED NAVY RESERVES TECHNICIAN FOUND FLOATING IN A LAKE, AND SLOANE’S DAUGHTER SHOWS UP WITH AN UNEXPECTED REQUEST.”

CBS also released a couple of new preview photos for episode 18. Agent Gibbs is spotted in some pretty serious-looking scenes. Agents Torres and Bishop are spotted having a good laugh with Palmer in one of the pics.

McGee and Torres are spotted hanging out in a few of the photos. Agent Sloane is seen in a few pics with her daughter Faith. It definitely does look like Sloane and Faith are having a pretty serious conversation.

Episode 18 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Kate Hamilton as character (Faith Tolliver), Jeremiah Birkett as character (Dean Neil Pattterson), Chelsea Tavares as character (Ramona Whistler), Patrick Cage as character (Taye Tanner).

Guest stars continued: Iris Bahr as character (Beverly Berkshire), Matthew Ashford as character (Rick Martel), Joshua Dov as character (Portland Douglas), Amari O’Neil as character (Edgar) and Armen Nahapetian as character (Allen).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 18 are: Mark Harmon as character (NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs), Sean Murrayas character (NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee), Emily Wickersham as character (NCIS Special Agent Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop), Wilmer Valderrama as character (NCIS Special Agent Nicholas “Nick” Torres).

Season regulars continued: Maria Bello as character (NCIS Special Agent Jaqueline “Jack” Sloane), Brian Dietzen as character (Medical Examiner Jimmy Palmer), Diona Reasonover as character (Forensic Scientist Kasie Hines), Rocky Carroll as character (NCIS Director Leon Vance) and David McCallum as character (Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard).

Episode 18 was written by Kate Torgovnick May and Steven D Binder, and it was written by Alrick Riley.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 18 of NCIS’ current season 17 is scheduled to air next Tuesday night,March 24, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
