‘Blue Bloods’ Season 10, March 20, 2020 Episode 17 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “Blue Bloods” fans. We are so very sorry for this, but we’ve got to give it to you. It turns out that CBS is not going to air the next, new episode 17 of Blue Bloods’ current season 10 tonight, March 20, 2020.

And it gets worse. They’re not airing it next Friday night either! I know, I know. I can’t frigging believe it either. Geez!

Anyways,here’s the good news. We do have official confirmation from CBS that the new episode 17 will indeed air on Friday night, April 3, 2020 in its usual 9 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to commit that very important date and time to your memory banks. If you don’t have a good memory, set up a reminder or something. Just get it done.

So, what is CBS airing instead of the next, new episode 17 of Blue Bloods’ current season 10 tonight? According to the TV guide listings, CBS will be airing a couple of repeat episodes of Blue Bloods over the next two weeks.

Tonight, they will re-air the 7th episode of this current season 10. It’s titled, “Higher standards.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Jamie and Frank oppose each other’s viewpoints over the public’s treatment of cops after rowdy teens pour water on two rookies.

Also, Danny and Baez investigate a man who preys on the elderly, and Erin is forced to admit her wrongdoings when Jack brings her an old case and claims a man she put away was falsely convicted.”

Then next Friday night, March 27,2020, CBS will re-air the 8th episode of season 10. It’s titled, “Friends in High Places.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “While Henry works as an investigative consultant for child services, he and Danny butt heads over a case involving a man who is volatile toward his wife.

Also, Frank is caught in the middle of an ongoing battle between the NYPD and the FDNY; Erin ponders a life-changing opportunity presented to her by Mayor Peter Chase (Dylan Walsh); and Jamie is suspicious about an investigation targeting Eddie’s partner, Kenneth Troy (Eric Troy Miller).”

If any of you guys wish to re-watch those episodes for whatever reason, CBS will still be the channel for you on Friday nights during this two-week break. If not, you’ll want to set up new plans as soon as you can.

With all that said, we were able to track down new information for the next, new episode 17 of Blue Bloods season 10. CBS did serve up an official press release for it. So, we’re going to go over it.

Before we do, we’re going to warn you that it does contain some light spoiler teasers. So, if spoilers aren’t what you’re into, you are highly advised to leave this article as quick as you can.

Alright, now that you all know spoilers are coming, let’s get into this new episode 17 press release. To start, the official title for it is revealed to be, “The Puzzle Palace.”

It sounds like episode 17 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic and action-filled scenes.

In the new episode 17, a sociopath will end up claiming he has evidence that could help make sure a double-murderer gets convicted. In light of this, Erin and Anthony will have to try and trust this sociopath.

Frank will be in intense action in this episode. Apparently, he’s going to get bombarded with a ton of backlash from his department over suspending an officer for committing violent actions.

Elsewhere, we’ll also see more of Danny and Beaz. This time, they will attempt to arrest a very notorious gangster who is believed to actually have people working for him inside the department!

CBS’ official description for episode 17 reads like this, “Erin and Anthony must trust a sociopath who claims he has evidence to convict a double-murderer.

Also, Frank faces backlash from his department when he suspends an officer for violent behavior, and Danny and Baez try to arrest a notorious gangster who appears to have people covering for him inside the department.”

Episode 17 will feature a ton of guest stars. They are: Fortuna Gebresellassie as character (Annie), Jennifer Bowles as character (Alice Dornan), Stephen Rowe as character (Johnny Lyons), Susan Blommaert as character (Polly Riley), Charlie Sausa as character (Derick), Melissa Joyner as character (Alex Moore), Joshua James Dye as character (Jackson Wilks), Leigh Ann Larkin as character (Meagan Carson), Mister Fitzgerald as character (Civilian 1).

Guest stars continued: Barrett Blizzard as character (Civilian 2), Will Stout as character (Officer Jeff Lyons), Mark Deklin as character (Donnie Hassett), Tony Carlin as character (Captain Simms), Greg Jackson as character (Lawyer), Stephen Payne as character (John Riley), William Gyarfas as character (Lyon’s Partner), Alice A. Hom as character (Mahjong Player #2), Susan Kimmel as character (Mahjong Player #1), Matt Consalvo as character (Officer Meyer) and Charle Webb as character (Officer Cooper).

Episode 17 will feature a few recurring stars. They are: Abigail Hawk as character (Abigail Baker), Gregory Jbara as character (Garrett Moore), Robert Clohessy as character (Lt. Gormley), Steven Schirripa as character (Anthony Abetamarco), Andrew Terraciano as character (Sean Reagan) and James Nuciforo as character (Nuciforo).

Episode 17 was written by Kevin Riley, and it was directed by Dean White. Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 17 of Blue Bloods’ current season 10 is scheduled to air on Friday night, April 3, 2020 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
