‘The Walking Dead’ Season 10, April 12, 2020 Finale Episode 16 Delayed. Not Airing For A While

Hey, “The Walking Dead” fans. Unfortunately, we have some super duper bad news for you guys n this article. We’re just going to tell it to you straight up. AMC will not be airing the next, new finale episode 16 of The Walking Dead’s current season 10 tonight, April 12, 2020.

Yep, that right, guys. What’s worse is we don’t know when in the hell they’re actually going to air it. It definitely won’t be anytime soon. You see, this crazy worldwide pandemic we have going on ,right now, has also affected the finale episode 16 airing for The Walking Dead.

According to recent report from Deadline.com, The Walking Dead production team had not finished up post-production for the season 10 finale episode 16 when the pandemic hit United States.

And as most of you know, the pandemic has caused almost everything to totally shut down including The Walking Dead production set. The Walking Dead is just one of many shows that have had to postpone the ending of their season due to this crazy pandemic.

Back on March 24, 2020, AMC Networks hopped on their official Twitter account to reveal that episode 15 was the end of season 10, and that the 16th episode will actually air as a special episode later on this year.

Their tweet reads like this, “Current events have unfortunately made it impossible to complete post-production of The Walking Dead Season 10 finale, so the current season will end with its 15th episode on April 5.

The Deadline.com report also revealed that The Walking Dead production team has had to postpone production of the new season 11 due to this crazy pandemic.

Other AMC shows that are reportedly taking a hit from this crisis is the Walking Dead spinoff shows “Fear The Walking Dead” and “The Walking Dead: Beyond World.”

Fear The Walking Dead had to halt production of its current season 6. “The Walking Dead: Beyond World” was originally scheduled to debut tonight, April 12, 2020, but its premiere has now been pushed back to sometime later this year.

So, that’s another double bummer for any of you guys who were looking forward to watching any of those shows anytime soon.

So, what will AMC be airing instead of the season finale episode 16 of The Walking Dead’s current season 10 tonight? According to the TV guide listings, AMC will be airing the premiere episode 1 of Killing Eve’s current season 3. It’s titled, “Slowly Slowly Catchy Monkey.”

AMC’s official description for it reads like this, “Eve is attempting to rebuild her life, having been shot by Villanelle. Villanelle is also moving on, until she is approached by an old foe. Carolyn is being undermined at work and Kenny can’t leave his own investigation into The Twelve alone.”

We imagine that AMC will just keep airing Killing Eve’s 3rd season every Sunday night until they run out of episodes for it. So, if any of you are also a “Killing Eve” fan, you will probably still want to watch AMC tonight. If not, start making other plans as quick as you can.

The Walking Dead season 10 finished up its season, averaging 3.372 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 1.13 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The last episode 15 brought in 3.488 million LIVE viewers and a 1.13 ratings score.

These numbers are a far cry from what this show used to bring in, but they were good enough to get a season 11 renewal from AMC. So, when all this pandemic mess has cleared up, you guys will have that to look forward to.
