‘SWAT’ Season 3, April 15, 2020, Episode 19 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “S.W.A.T.” fans. We have unfortunately just been informed that CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 19 of SWAT’s current season 3 tonight, April 15, 2020. We’re not sure what the exact reason is for this delay. We just know that it’s delayed for whatever reason.
We also know that this delay will just be for this week. We have official confirmation that the new episode 19 is scheduled to air next Wednesday night, April 22, 2020 in its usual 9 pm central standard time slot on CBS of course. So, be sure you guys have that very important date and time locked into your memory banks.
So, what is CBS airing instead of the next, new episode 19 of SWAT’s 3rd season tonight? According to some intel we’ve gotten from the folks over at TheFutoncritic.com, CBS will be airing a repeat episode of SWAT. This particular repeat will be the 20th episode of last season 2. It’s titled, “Rocket Fuel.”
CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “The SWAT team discovers a new version of PCP with ties to an escaped drug dealer who created a version that ravaged the city decades earlier.
Tan’s personal ties to the case emerge when he brings in his mentor, Ben Mosley (Dominic Hoffman), the former lead detective on the original drug case, to help. Also, Chris weighs a major decision regarding her romantic relationship with Kira and Ty, and Hondo’s patience is tested by his new familial responsibilities.”
If any of you guys have any desire to watch this repeat episode of SWAT tonight, just watch CBS as you normally would do at this time. However, if you don’t want to see this repeat episode of SWAT, we can tell you that you will most certainly want to make a very swift change of plans.
With all that said, we do have some new intel for the next,new episode 19 of SWAT’s current season 3. CBS was kind enough to put out an official press release for it. So, we’re going to take a look at it right now.
First, we must warn all of you that this episode 19 press release does contain some light spoiler teasers. So, if spoilers aren’t something you’re fond of, we highly suggest that you exit this article immediately.
However, if you totally love spoilers, and they fill your heart with joy, we highly advise you to stick around.
Ok, now that we’ve thrown our spoiler warning out at you, let’s go deep, deep, deep into this episode 19 press release. First thing’s first, it lets us know that episode 19 is officially labeled, “Vice.” That’s a nice and short title.
It sounds like episode 19 will feature some very intense, action-filled, dramatic, violent, and possible emotional scenes.
In the new episode 19, a very dangerous convict will escape and be out on the loose. This convict plans to totally kill Tan and everyone who was involved in him getting thrown in prison way back when!
In light of this emergency situation, The SWAT team will definitely get to work in trying to track down and capture this very dangerous person.
Chris will encounter a lot of internal corruption when the young man she arrests gets off with the help of his very powerful father.
Elsewhere, Hondo will have his hands full with some personal matters. At some point, we will see Hondo get a startling visit from his sister named Winnie. Winnie’s visit will totally put pressure on Hondo’s relationship with Nichelle.
CBS’ official description for episode 19 reads like this, “The SWAT team searches for an escaped convict who plans to kill Tan and every member of law enforcement who helped put him in prison years ago.
Also, Chris comes face to face with internal corruption when she arrests a young man who is given a free pass due to his powerful father, and a surprise visit by Hondo’s sister, Winnie (April Parker Jones), puts pressure on his relationship with Nichelle (Rochelle Aytes).”
Episode 19 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Jeff Blim as character (Emerson), Jack Schumacher as character (Jacob), Cassandra Blair as character (Guerra), Brett Weinstock as character (Hugh), Chelsea Mee as character (Jacinda).
Guestr stars continued: Brandon Brooks as character (McKenna), Evan Holtzman as character (Officer Kowalski), Jeff Marlowe as character (Sheppard), Matt Roszak as character (Pope), Adam J. Harrington as character (Pronger), Liza Fernandez as character (Raquel) and Mara Hernandez as character (Sadie).
Episode 19 features a couple of recurring stars. They are: Karissa Lee Staples as character (Bonnie), Rochelle Aytes as character (Nichelle) and April Parker Jones as character (Winnie).
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 19 are: Shemar Moore as character (Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson), Alex Russell as character (Jim Street), Jay Harrington as character (David “Deacon” Kay), Lina Esco as character (Christina “Chris” Alonso), Kenny Johnson as character (Dominique Luca), David Lim as character (Victor Tan), Patrick St. Esprit as character (Commander Robert Hicks) and Amy Farrington as character (Lieutenant Piper Lynch).
Episode 19 was written by Michael Gemballa & Matthew T. Brown, and it was directed by Oz Scott. Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 19 of SWAT’s current season 3 is scheduled to air next Wednesday night, April 22, 2020 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
