‘The Voice’ May 12, 2020 Eliminated 4 More Singers. Top 5 Revealed (Recap)
Hey, “The Voice” fans. Tonight, May 12, 2020, another new LIVE results episode for The Voice’s current season 18 did indeed air, and the top 5 singers were revealed. The judges/coaches: Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas were on hand from their homes due to the terrible pandemic.
Carson Daly hosted The Voice from Universal studios in Los Angeles, California. Here’s how the results worked tonight.
The singer from each team that received the most amount of votes from last night’s performances advanced through to the top five. Then the remaining contestants competed in a sing-off for a wildcard spot in to the top five. The fans voted in real time, tonight, to determine that final, 5th spot.
Tonight’s LIVE results show kicked off with Carson Daly revealing that Micah Iverson got more votes than Megan Danielle from Team Kelly. So, Micah is through to the top five!
Next up was Allegra Miles and Thunderstorm Artis from Team Nick. Carson revealed that Thunderstorm Artis made it to the top five!
CammWess and Zan Fiskum from Team Legend were given their results, and it was CammWess who emerged the winner. So, CammWess made it through to the top five!
After that, they took a break from the results to show John Legend’s new music video for his song “Bigger Love.”
Next, Carson revealed the results for Todd Tilghman, Joanna Serenko and Toneisha Harris of Team Blake. Todd won the votes between them. So, he advanced through to the top five!
At this point, it was time for the sing-off for that final wild-card,top five spot. Megan Danielle for Team Kelly was up first. She sang “Simple Man.” Afterwards, Kelly said, “You’re so rock n roll. You’re a pure, raw talent. I promise to help you any way I can. Your believability is off the charts.”
Next, Allegra Miles from Team Nick hit the stage to sing, “In My Blood.” Afterwards, Nick said, “You got better and better along the way. It was an honor working with you. You knocked it out of the park.”
Zan Fiskum from Team Legend was up next to sing, “Always Remember Us This Way.” Afterwards, John said, “You have consistently stood out to me. I love your angelic voice and willingness to take risks.”
Next, Joanna Serenko from Team Blake sang, “Unaware.” Afterwards, Blake said, “You had a hell of a journey.”
Lastly, Toneisha Harris from Team Blake sang, “Loving You.” Afterwards, Blake said, “Toneisha puts a lot of thought into her performances.”
Shortly after all of that, Carson revealed the results of the real-time, wild card voting. Toneisha Harris ended up winning the Wildcard.
So, your top 5, “The Voice” contestants that are through to next week are: Micah Iverson from Team Kelly, Thunderstorm Artis from Team Nick, CammWess from Team Legend, Todd Tilghman from Team Blake and Toneisha Harris from Team Blake.

The next, new “The Voice” episode is scheduled to air on Monday night,May 18, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on NBC.
It will be part 1 of the finale. NBC’s description for it reads like this, “In the final phase of the competition, the final artists perform in front of coaches Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, John Legend and Blake Shelton to compete for the title of The Voice.”

Last night was a joke. I am so disappointed with America’s voting. In what world is Micah and Todd more talented than Zan and Allegra. obviously this is a popularity contest and not a “voice” competition.
