‘America’s Got Talent’ August 4, 2020 No New Episode. It’s Just A Recap Of Past Performances
Hey, “America’s Got Talent” fans. We had to jump on here ,real quick, to let you guys know that tonight’s August 4, 2020 episode of America’s Got Talent has turned out not to really be a new episode again.
In this one, they’re showing the judges: Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara looking back at episodes from previous seasons. They’re calling it a look back at the most viral performances.
Tonight’s episode has technically never been aired before, but the contents of it just features repeat performances. NBC’s official description for tonight’s episode of America’s Got Talent reads like this, “15th Anniversary Special. A look at some viral acts, including Kodi Lee, Shin Lim, and Grace Vanderwaal.”
Some of you guys may still want to tune in to this episode. If so, have it. I’m sure it still has some entertainment value of some sort. We don’t have an exact reason why NBC chose to show this type of episode again.
Our best guess is the same as last time. We just blame it on the terrible pandemic. We’re sure it effected production in some type of way like it has everything else.
Anyways, we can happily tell you that a true, brand new episode of America’s Got Talent is scheduled to air next Tuesday night, August 11, 2020 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot on NBC of course. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars right now.
Next week’s episode will be the LIVE shows part 1. NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Live Show 1. Eleven performers compete for America’s vote and a $1 Million Dollar prize as judging is turned over to the viewing audience.”
The ratings and live viewership numbers for America’s Got Talent’s current season 15 still look rather strong in spite of the terrible pandemic. It’s averaging 8.359 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 1.25 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.
The last episode, which aired on July 28, 2020, brought in 6.118 million LIVE viewers and a 0.96 ratings score.
Again, the next new episode of America’s Got Talent’s current season 15 is scheduled to air next Tuesday night, August 11, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on NBC. It will be the first LIVE show of this season! Be ready.
