New ‘Lovecraft Country’ Spoilers For Season 1, September 13, 2020 Episode 5 Revealed
Hey, “Lovecraft Country” fans. We are back on here to let you guys know a few things you can expect to see play out in the next, new episode 5,which is due out next Sunday night, September 13, 2020.
We were able to get a couple of new teaser descriptions for episode via HBO’s official episode 5 press release. So, let’s just get right into it.
For starters, we’ve got an official title for episode 5. It’s called, “Strange Case.” It sounds like episode 5 will feature some very interesting,dramatic and intense scenes as Ruby makes a devil’s bargain with William! Atticus’ pent up rage gets unleashed and more!
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Ruby and William situation. It turns out that Ruby will indeed strike up a very devilish bargain with William at some point in this episode. This bargain will enable Ruby to step into the shoes of a white woman. However, it will only cause her to further resent the racial divide.
HBO’s official description for this Ruby and William devil’s bargain storyline reads like this, “After making a devil’s bargain with William, Ruby steps into the charmed shoes of a white woman, but her transformation only fortifies her resentment of the racial divide.”
What will this mean for Ruby moving forward? That’s a very important question for this particular plotline. It certainly sounds like we could get some very interesting scenes from this storyline.
The second and last teaser description lets us know that Montrose is going to commit a betrayal of some sort, and it will totally cause some pent up rage to get unleashed from Atticus! When it does, it’s going to cause Leti to get very disturbed. This ,in turn, will cause Leti to send Montrose into the clutches of a secret lover!
HBO’s description for this Montrose, Atticus and Leti storyline reads like this, “A betrayal by Montrose unleashes Atticus’ pent up rage, leaving Leti deeply disturbed and sending Montrose into the comforting arms of his secret lover.”
What does all this mean for the future of Leti and Montrose? That’s a big question for this particular storyline. Whatever the case, it sounds like this storyline will feature a lot of intense, dramatic and emotional scenes for you guys to look forward to when next Sunday night finally gets here. So, get ready for it.

The teleplay for episode 5 was done by Misha Green, Jonathan Kidd and Sonya Winton, and it was directed by Cheryl Dunye.
HBO’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 5 of Lovecraft Country’s current season 1 is indeed scheduled to air next Sunday night, September 13, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on HBO.
