Shameless Season 11, January 17, 2021 Episode 5 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “Shameless” fans. We had to jump on here, real quick, to let you guys know some very unfortunate news. It turns out that Showtime is not airing the next, new episode 5 of Shameless’ current and last season 11 tonight, January 17, 2021.

This news gets a tad bit worse. We have also been informed that they will not air it next Sunday night, January 24, 2021 as well. Apparently, Showtime has decided to not air it for two weeks straight.

The official,scheduled air date for episode 5 is going to land on Sunday night,January 31, 2021 in its usual 8 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to mark that very important date and time down on your TV show schedules as soon as possible.

So, what is Showtime airing instead of the next, new episode 5 of Shameless’ current season 11 tonight? According to the TV Guide listings, Showtime is airing another, new Shameless Hall Of Shame special called,”Shameless Hall of Shame: Lip: Once Upon a Phillip Gallagher.”

Showtime’s official description for it reads like this, “When baby Fred comes down with a head cold, Lip tells him a story he’s never heard before to try and help him get some rest.”

Then, next Sunday night, January 24, 2021, Showtime will air yet another, new Shameless Hall Of Fame episode titled, “Shameless Hall of Shame: Debbie, Carl & Liam: They Grow Up So Fast.”

Showtime’s official description for it reads like this, “When Liam’s quarantine girlfriend breaks up with him for being a Gallagher, Carl and Debbie join forces to help their little brother figure out how to get her back, despite sort of hating each other.”

If any of these Shameless: Hall Of Shame episodes sound good to you guys, you might still want to flip on Showtime tonight to catch those.

On the other hand, if you only want to see the new episode 5 and nothing else, you will certainly want to make some other plans until that magical date of January 31, 2021.

With all that said, we do have some additional info for the next, new episode 5 of Shameless’ current season 11. Showtime served up an official press release for it. So, we’re going to go over it right now.

This press release does contain a few, light spoiler teasers. So, if you don’t like spoilers, you’re highly advised to exit this article right now.

If you like reading spoilers, we totally want you to stick around. Alright, let’s do this. First thing’s first. Episode 5 is officially titled, “Slaughter.”

It sounds like episode 5 will feature some pretty interesting, dramatic, funny and intense scenes.

In the new episode 5,Ian and Mickey will run into some issues as their security gig might not be as safe as they thought. In light of this, they will get quite resourceful.

Kev and Frank will be quite busy with a little mischief in this episode as they will attempt to execute another plot to screw over the Milkovich’s.

V will be in action as she tries to get black people out to the polls. However, she’s going to discover that there are not that many black folks left on the Southside.

Lip and Tami will run into a big, shocking moment in this episode when some surprising news about their house is thrown at them. This news will be so significant that it causes them to start looking at other places to stay!

Debbie and Franny will share some new scenes together in this installment when Debbie ends up taking Franny to a comic book signing that features her favorite wrestler.

Carl and Leesie run into some major issues as they both have a different way of policing. These differences will be so intense that it will cause them to reach a breaking point!

Showtime’s official description for episode 5 reads like this, “Ian and Mickey get creative when the safety of their security gig comes into question. Dynamic duo Frank and Kev make a last-ditch effort to take down the Milkovich’s.

V canvasses to get black people to the polls but realizes there’s barely any black people left on the Southside. Lip and Tami get surprising news about their house that forces them to look elsewhere. Debbie takes Franny to a comic book signing for her favorite wrestler. Carl and Leesie’s differing approaches to policing come to a head.”

Again, Showtime confirmed that the next,new episode 5 of Shameless’ current and last season 11 is scheduled to air on Sunday night, January 31, 2021 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
