Hey, “The Good Doctor” fans. We are back in action with a new report for you guys. Unfortunately, it’s not a good one this time. It turns out that ABC is not going to air the next, new episode 9 of The Good Doctor’s current season 4 tonight, February 1,2021.

The bad news doesn’t stop there. Oh, no,no, no. ABC also will not air episode 9 next Monday night, February 8, 2021. So, this is a two-week delay for your favorite show.

We do have official confirmation from ABC that episode 9 is scheduled to air on Monday night, February 14,2021 in its usual 9 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to not forget that very important date and time.

We tracked down what ABC is planning to air in place of the next, new episode 9 of The Good Doctor’s current season 4 over these next two weeks. Tonight, they will be airing a repeat episode of The Good Doctor. It will be the first episode of this season 4 titled, “Frontline Part 1.”

ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Dr. Shaun Murphy treats a patient with an illness that is not only unpredictable in nature but also unlike anything he or the team at San Jose St. Bonaventure has ever seen before.

As safety protocols and quarantines increase due to the global pandemic, Lea and Shaun’s new relationship will become tested; and Dr. Alex Park gets ready to move back to Phoenix, Arizona to be closer to his family.

Meanwhile, Dr. Morgan Reznick navigates her way around the clinic following her departure from the surgery team and unknowingly puts herself and several members of the staff in danger. Finally, Dr. Claire Brown continues to work through her grief, still reeling from the sudden death of Dr. Neil Melendez.”

Then ,next Monday night, February 8, 2021, ABC will be airing another repeat episode of The Good Doctor. This repeat episode will be episode 4 of its 4th season titled, “Frontline Part 2.”

ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Dr. Shaun Murphy and Dr. Marcus Andrews determine that their patient has been infected with COVID-19. As they struggle to understand and get ahead of a constantly evolving virus, Shaun has a hard time balancing his fears and concerns about potentially jeopardizing Lea’s health and wanting to be with the woman he loves.

Meanwhile, Claire looks for a way to grieve Melendez’s death through her patients. In the COVID-19 ward, Dr. Morgan Reznick softens a little while tending to Nurse Petringa (Karin Konoval) who imparts a bit of wisdom from her 40+ year nursing career. Elsewhere, Dr. Alex Park and Mia (Jennifer Birmingham Lee) discuss their future together.”

If any of you guys missed the season 4 premiere episodes of The Good Doctor, or wouldn’t mind watching them again, you might still want to tune in to ABC over these next, two weeks.

If you know you absolutely don’t want to watch these repeat episodes of The Good Doctor, you will definitely want to get something else planned as fast as you can.

Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we were able to get an official title and teaser description for the next, new episode 9 of The Good Doctor’s current season 4 from the lovely ABC folks. So, we’re going to run that by you right now.

Episode 9 is officially titled, “Irresponsible Salad Bar Practices.” It sounds like episode 9 will feature some very intense, dramatic, interesting and possible emotional scenes.

In the new episode 9, a pregnant patient will take the spotlight at some point. Apparently, things will be quite bad for this poor patient as she will have an aggressive tumor. This unique situation will certainly make Lim contemplate what to do.

Elsewhere, Claire will take the spotlight as she will be busy making a very disturbing discovery in regards to certain practices that are going on at the hospital.

ABC’s official description for episode 9 reads like this, “Lim is challenged by the unique circumstances surrounding a pregnant patient with an aggressive tumor. After misdiagnosing a patient, Claire makes a disconcerting discovery about certain practices at the hospital.”

Again, ABC confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of The Good Doctor’s current season 4 is scheduled to finally arrive on Monday night, February 14,2021 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
