Chicago Fire Season 9, February 24, 2021 Episode 8 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “Chicago Fire” fans. Unfortunately, we are on here, today, to tell you that your favorite NBC drama Chicago Fire has run into another delay with the NBC network. So, they will not be airing the next, new episode 8 of Chicago Fire’s current season 9 tonight, February 24, 2021.
To add to that disappointment, NBC will also not air the new episode 8 next week, March 3, 2021. Nope, currently, NBC is scheduled to air the new episode 8 on Wednesday night, March 10, 2021 in its usual 8 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to not let that very important date and time ecscape your memory banks.
In the meantime, NBC has some alternative programs lined up to take the place of the next, new episode 8 of Chicago Fire’s current season 8. Tonight, they will be airing a repeat episode of Chicago Fire. It will be the 3rd episode of this season 9 titled, “SMASH THERAPY.”
NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “A mishap on the aerial ladder in the midst of a fire rescue leaves Mouch shaken and questioning his abilities. Kidd looks for support from Severide while Casey and Brett discuss their future.”
Then, next Wednesday night, March 3, 2021, NBC will air another repeat episode of Chicago Fire. This repeat episode will be the 4th episode of this season 9 titled, “FUNNY WHAT THINGS REMIND US.”
NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “While completing a task assigned to him by headquarters, Boden makes an unforeseen connection. When the firehouse is called to the site of a construction explosion, Gallo is forced to make a surprise rescue to one of their own. Mouch reignites an old feud.”
If any of you guys want to watch those Chicago Fire repeat episodes, you might still want to watch NBC as you normally would during that particular time.
On the other hand, if you just want to watch the new episode 8 and nothing else, you will certainly want to find something else to do or watch until that March 10, 2021 date rolls around.
We were able to track down the official title for the next, new episode 8 of Chicago Fire’s current season 9. It’s called, “ESCAPE ROUTE.”
Currently, that’s all the info we could find for episode 8 since NBC has yet to put out a press release for it.
Chicago Fire’s current 9th season is averaging 7.330 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 0.99 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The last episode 7, which aired last Wednesday night, February 17, 2021 managed to draw in 7.298 million LIVE viewers and a 0.97 ratings score.
NBC has currently already renewed Chicago Fire for a brand new season 10 and 11. So, it will certainly be around for at least another 2 more seasons after this one.
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 8 of Chicago Fire’s current season 9 is scheduled to finally arrive on Wednesday night, March 10, 2021 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
