The lovely folks over at ABC served up a couple of new teaser descriptions for episode 19 via their official episode 19 press release. So, we’re going to get into those right now. Let’s do it.

First thing’s first. ABC’s episode 19 press release for The Good Doctor season 4 let us know that this new episode 19 has officially been titled, “Venga.” It sounds like episode 19 will feature some pretty interesting, dramatic and intense scenes as the doctors head out to Guatemala. Lea still struggles with her miscarriage and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the whole Guatemala trip situation. Yep, it turns out that Shaun and the rest of the St. Bonaventure doctors are about to go on a little adventure when they end up traveling to Guatemala at some point.

Apparently, this trip is apart of their mission to help out some patients that are located at a rural hospital. Once the doctors get to Guatemala, they are going to soon realize that they’re dealing with a community of folks that are absolutely in desperate need of their help. However, the doctors will have to try and figure out who exactly they can help the most.

ABC’s official description for this Guatemala storyline reads like this, “During part one of the two-part season finale, the St. Bonaventure team travels to Guatemala on a surgical mission to help patients at a rural hospital. Once there, the team faces a small community that is in desperate need of their help but are assigned the daunting task of identifying who they can help most.”

The second and spoiler scoop reveals that Leah will definitely not be on the up and up in this episode as the loss of her baby will certainly still be weighing heavy on her heart.

ABC’s description for this latest Leah storyline reads like this, “While Shaun seems to be thriving in Guatemala, Lea is still struggling with the loss of her baby.”

Episode 19 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Osvaldo Benavides as character Dr. Mateo Rendon Osma, Shalyn Ferdinand as character Dr. Heather Boyd, Allegra Fulton as character Dr. Karla Saravia and Esmeralda Pimentel as character Nurse Ana Morales.

Episode 19 was written by Liz Friedman, and it was directed by Mike Listo.
