The Bachelorette June 21, 2021 Eliminated Karl, John, Garrett & Kyle (Recap)

Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, June 21, 2021, another new episode of The Bachelorette 2021 edition with headliner Katie Thurston did indeed hit the airwaves, and some more men were sent home during it.

Tonight’s episode kicked off right where it left off in the last episode. The guys got very angry with Karl for accusing multiple guys of not being there for the right reasons without any proof and making Katie upset for no reason. Then, Katie finally came out and told them the cocktail party is over because she’s not in the right mindset. They’re going straight to the rose ceremony.

Christian went and talked to Katie. She appreciated it. He told her, “Karl should’ve came and talked to us if he felt some type of way instead of making you feel upset.” All the guys agreed that Karl is a snake.

Next, the rose ceremony happened. During it, Mike P told Katie that all of the guys have agreed solidarity that what Karl said about them not being their for the right reasons is not true and that he should go. Katie said, “Do you all feel this way?” They nodded yes.

From there, Katie went and talked to her former Bachelor Nation guides Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams about it. Katie told them she originally planned to keep Karl. They told her it was her decision to make. After that, Katie passed out the roses.

David, Hunter, Conor C, Mike P, Michael, Connor B, Quartney, Tre, Justin, Andrew M, Christian, Josh, Brendan, James and Aaron all got roses to join Greg and Thomas who received roses earlier during the last episode.

That means Karl, John, Garrett and Kyle did not get a rose and made their exits. After that, Katie toasted to being there for the right reasons.

Next, Katie took Aaron, Quartney,James, Connor B, Justin, Thomas, Hunter, Brendan and David out on a group date. During it, they went and talked with former Bachelor headliner Nick Viall. He asked them to open up to Katie about things they aren’t proud of from their past.

Hunter went first ,and he talked about how he failed in his previous marriage. From there, the other guys followed suit, revealing things they aren’t proud of.

Thomas admitted that he originally came there to possibly build a following. He also confessed to leading women on in the past, and he did it with a smile on his face. It definitely rubbed some of the other guys the wrong way.

Connor B revealed that he used to drink a lot and get angry when he was about 24 or 25 years old, and he cheated on his girlfriend at the time. He said he got help for it ,and he used that experience to become a better man.

Katie told them something about herself. She revealed that she got drunk and was raped in the past, and she formed a relationship with the guy out of denial. She had a very unhealthy relationship with sex and she’s come along way to become the sex-positive person she is today.

During the second half of the group date, Katie talked 1 on 1 with Justin. He told her, “I just want to keep learning more about you,” and they hugged. Katie talked with Connor B. At one point, Katie told Connor B, “I think you’re a catch,” and they kissed.

Katie talked with Thomas. He gave her a lot of compliments again and told her he’s there for the right reasons. Katie talked with Aaron.

Thomas told the private cams he didn’t like how his 1 on 1 conversation with Katie went,and he needed to talk to her again. So, he interrupted Katie and Aaron’s conversation to do so. Aaron definitely didn’t like it.

After interrupting Aaron and Katie, Thomas told Katie, “I feel a very strong energy for you, and you’re special. I just wanted you to know that.” Katie told Thomas, “I love how passionate you are,” and they kissed. Meanwhile, Aaron told the rest of the guys how Thomas interrupted he and Katie’s conversation, and they didn’t like it. Eventually, Aaron told Thomas that he was disrespectful. Katie end up giving Connor B the group date rose.

Afterwards, Aaron confronted Thomas again and told him he’s absolutely disrespectful and disgusting. The other guys agreed with Aaron.

Next, Katie took Michael A out on a 1 on 1 date. She took him for a fun ride in a dune buggy. Then they talked. He told her, “I think there’s something comforting and special about you.” Katie, of course, liked that, and they kissed and laughed.

During the second half of their date, Katie told the private cams, “I believe Michael’s intentions are so pure.” They talked over drinks. Michael told her about his past wife Laura and how he lost her to breast cancer. It got very emotional.

Michael told Katie, “I’m ready to open up my heart, and it’s a gift to be able to fall in love twice.” Katie told Michael, “I feel very fortunate to have you here.” Katie told the private cams, “The way Michael spoke about love is beautiful.”

Katie, of course, gave Michael a rose, and they kissed. Then they watched the stars and kissed again. Katie told the private cams, “This could be the start of me falling love with Michael, and it’s so unexpected.”

Elsewhere, the rest of the guys continued to complain about Thomas. They said they’re tired of his lies and manipulations. They finally got together and called him out in a big, group meeting!

During it, Hunter asked Thomas, point blank, if he ever thought about being the next Bachelor coming into this season. Thomas finally admitted that he did after trying to avoid answering the question at first.

Thomas said that’s not still his intention, but the guys said they don’t believe him. They think he’s trying to manipulate Katie. And that was the show, guys. We got the “To Be Continued” message. It appears that all the guys are trying to gang up on Thomas now. We assume that we’ll see how that plays out in the next episode.

The next, new episode of The Bachelorette 2021 edition with headliner Katie Thurston is scheduled to air next Monday night, June 28, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on CBS.
