New SWAT Season 5 Spoilers For October 8, 2021 Episode 2 Revealed
Hey, “S.W.A.T.” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed the way this new season 5 of SWAT kicked off in the premiere episode 1 tonight. Now that it’s officially all wrapped up, we are back on here to tell you about a few things you can expect to see in the next, new episode 2 of SWAT’s current season 5, which is scheduled to air next Friday night, October 8, 2021.
We were able to track down a couple of new, official teaser scoops for episode 2 from CBS’ official episode 2 press release. So, we’re definitely going to run those by you in this spoiler session. Let’s get to it.
To start, CBS revealed that the writers decided to officially title this new episode, “Madrugada”. Wow, that is definitely a unique title to say the least.
It sounds like episode 2 will feature some more very intense, dramatic, action-filled, suspenseful and interesting scenes as Hondo goes on a dangerous mission with a local Mexican cop! Hicks contemplates splitting up the team forever and more!
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Hondo situation. It turns out that Hondo will still indeed be in Mexico in this episode. This time around, we’re going to see Hondo team up with one of the cops in the area to try and rescue someone, and some heavy danger will be involved. If that’s not enough, Hondo will end up with a friggin target on his back due to this mission.
CBS’ official description for this latest Hondo storyline reads like this, “Still in Mexico, Hondo teams up with a local cop for a dangerous rescue mission, only to find himself with a target on his back.”
The second and last teaser description for this new episode 2 lets us know that Hicks will be up to some possible shocking activities in this episode as he will be seriously thinking about splitting up the team on a permanent basis!
CBS’ description for this Hicks storyline reads like this, “Back in Los Angeles, Hicks considers disbanding the team for good.”
Episode 2 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Val Dorantes as character (Delfina), Timothy V. Murphy as character (Arthur), José-Maria Aguila as character (Charro), David Arauza as character (Chief Barrera), Pilar Padilla as character (Isabel).
Guest stars continued: Luke Cook as character (A.J.), Ricardo Abarca as character (Gabriel), Samantha Cutaran as character (Susan), Jeff Bowser as character (Dana), Luis Alberti as character (Flynn) and August Maturo as character (Terrified Teen).
Episode 2 will feature a recurring star. That one person is Lou Ferrigno, Jr. as character (Rocker).
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 2 are: Shemar Moore as character (Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson), Alex Russell as character (Jim Street), Jay Harrington as character (David “Deacon” Kay), Lina Esco as character (Christina “Chris” Alonso), Kenny Johnson as character (Dominique Luca), David Lim as character (Victor Tan) and Patrick St. Esprit as character (Commander Robert Hicks).
Episode 2 was written by Matthew T. Brown, and it was directed by Billy Gierhart.
CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 2 of SWAT’s current season 5 is indeed scheduled to hit your TV screens next Friday night, October 8, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
