Blue Bloods Season 12, October 29, 2021 Episode 5 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “Blue Bloods” fans. We are back on here with some bad news, unfortunately. For some unknown reason, CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 5 of Blue Bloods’ current season 12 tonight, October 29, 2021. That’s right, guys. The show has already hit its first delay of this season.

The good news is that this particular delay is just for tonight. CBS has confirmed that they do plan to air the new episode 5 next Friday night, November 5, 2021 in its usual 9 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely make sure to not forget that very important date and time.

So, what is CBS airing instead of the next, new episode 5 of Blue Bloods’ current season 12 tonight? Well, according to the TV guide listings, CBS will be airing a repeat episode of Blue Bloods. This repeat episode will be the 4th episode of last season 11 titled, “Redemption.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Erin is conflicted by the weight of her authority in the sentencing of a man who is guilty of vehicular homicide. Danny and Baez pursue a rideshare rapist. Jamie and Eddie team up to aid a fellow officer when his partner is shot on the job.”

If any of you guys are down for watching this particular repeat episode of Blue Bloods, CBS might still be the channel for you tonight.

If you are dead set on only wanting to watch the next, new episode 5 of Blue Bloods season 12, you will certainly want to make some other plans for tonight as soon as you can.

They’re official teaser scoops for the next, new episode 5 of Blue Bloods’ current season 12 direct from CBS’ official episode 5 press release. So, we’re going to take a look at those right now.

For starters, CBS let us know that this new episode 5 is officially named, “Good Intentions.” It sounds like episode 5 will feature some very dramatic, intense, interesting, possible action-filled and emotional scenes.

CBS’ official description for episode 5 reads like this, “Jamie and Eddie experience marital tension when Eddie allows her newly released ex-convict father, Armin (Michael Cullen), to live with them. Also, Danny and Baez go out of their way to help a desperate out-of-town man (Dave Quay)find his missing sister.

Anthony enlists Erin’s help when new evidence arises in a closed case from his previous police career; and Frank goes head to head with Archbishop Kearns (Stacy Keach) when a local priest calling for the NYPD to be defunded causes friction between the force and the church on the CBS Original series BLUE BLOODS.”

Episode 5 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Michael Cullen as character (Armin Janko),Dave Quay as character (David Shaw), Kate Villanova as character (Angie De Grazia), Aleca Piper as character (Jade Jones), Jared Canfield as character (Father McDougal), Curtis Lyons, Jr. as character (Barry Trask), Tanesha Gary as character (Det. Carrie Ewbanks), Nesha Ward as character (Prison Guard) and Dani Martineck as character (Officer Hoffman).

Episode 5 will feature a couple of recurring stars. They are: Stacy Keach as character (Archbishop Kearns), Eric B. as character (Lt. Mike Gee), Abigail Hawk as character (Abigail Baker), Gregory Jbara as character (DCPI Garrett Moore), Robert Clohessy as character (Lt. Gormley), Steven Schirripa as character (Anthony Abetamarco) and Andrew Terraciano as character (Sean Reagan).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 5 are: Tom Selleck as character (Frank Reagan), Donnie Wahlberg as character (Danny Reagan), Bridget Moynahan as character (Erin Reagan), Will Estes as character (Jamie Reagan), Len Cariou as character (Henry Reagan), Marisa Ramirez as character (Det. Maria Baez) and Vanessa Ray as character (Officer Eddie Janko).

Episode 5 was written by Daniel Truly, and it was directed by David Barrett.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 5 of Blue Bloods’ current season 12 is scheduled to finally make its way on air next Friday night, November 5,2021 at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

    I look forward weekly to seeing an intelligent, well written, well acted script in Blue Bloods.
    So disappointed in these delays. Wondering how long before folks become disconnected & disinterested?!
    Hope viewers are considered when making decisions. It is these viewers who have given this show such an outstanding ratings.
