Blacklist Season 9, December 16, 2021 Episode 7 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “The Blacklist” fans. Unfortunately, it’s another one of those times again. We’re jumping on here to deliver some very bad news. It turns out that NBC will not be airing the next, new episode 7 of The Blacklist’s current season 9 tonight, December 16, 2021.
That’s right, guys. Not only that, the new episode 7 will also be missing from NBC’s primetime line up next week and the week after that. The Blacklist is in the midst of a 3-week delay. NBC has confirmed that they intend to air the new episode 7 on Thursday night, January 6, 2022 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to memorize that very important date and time.
We did track down what NBC will be airing in The Blacklist’s time slot tonight. According to the TV guide listings, NBC is going to air a special called, “Women of Worth.”
ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Camila Cabello, Helen Mirren, Eva Longoria and other A-list stars celebrate the inspiring stories of 10 U.S.-based nonprofit leaders whose tenacity and courage are leading to meaningful change in addressing society’s most pressing issues.”
Then, next Thursday night, December 23, 2021, NBC is going to air a Christmas special in the 7 pm central standard time slot. It’s called, “5 More Sleeps ’til Christmas.”
NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “A young boy who excitedly plans elaborate activities with his mom and dog for the five days leading up to Christmas must learn to share the joy when another kid and her father unexpectedly join the family for the holidays.”
In the 7:30 pm central standard time slot, NBC is going to air a holiday special called, “Trolls Holiday in Harmony.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Queen Poppy plans the first annual Trolls Kingdom Secret Holiday Gift Swap, but things take an unexpected turn when she and Branch draw each other’s name. Tiny Diamond comes down with a bad case of writers’ block.”
After the December 23, 2021 date, you guys will need to check your local listings to see what NBC has in store for its December 30, 2021 primetime line up.
If any of you guys are interested in what NBC will be airing in The Blacklist’s place over this 3-week delay, you might still want to keep NBC on your watchlist for Thursday nights.
If you only want to watch the next, new episode 7 of The Blacklist’s current season 9, you will certainly want to adopt some alternate plans until the January 6, 2022 date gets here.
We were able to track down an official title for the next, new episode 7 of The Blacklist’s current season 9. It’s called, “Between Sleep & Awake.”
So far, season 9 of The Blacklist has averaged 2.973 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.33 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 6, which aired last Thursday night, December 9, 2021, drew in 2.894 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.31 ratings score.
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 7 of The Blacklist’s current season 9 is scheduled to finally hit the air on Thursday night, January 6, 2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
