Blue Bloods Season 12, March 18, 2022 Episode 17 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey,”Blue Bloods” fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some horrible news for you guys tonight. We’ve learned that CBS is putting your favorite drama Blue Bloods on the back burner tonight, March 18, 2022. So, they will not be airing the next, new episode 17 of Blue Blood’s current season 17 tonight. Also, episode 17 will be missing in action from CBS’ primetime line up next Friday night, March 25, 2022.

That’s right, guys. You’ll need to prepare to be without new Blue Bloods episodes for 2 weeks. We’ve got confirmation from CBS that they plan to air the new episode 17 on Friday night, April 1, 2022 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to not forget that very important date and time.

So, what is it that bumped Blue Bloods from CBS’ primetime line up for the next two weeks? It’s the same thing that bumped everything else from CBS’ primetime line up. Apparently, it’s time for CBS to serve up their LIVE coverage of the March Madness, 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Tonight, they’re going to be covering one of the first round games featuring the Davidson Wildcats versus the Michigan State Spartans.

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “The Spartans (22-12) face the Atlantic 10 runner-up Wildcats (27-6), and a likely hostile crowd, in the NCAA Tournament’s first round. No. 10 Davidson’s campus is about 120 miles from Greenville, S.C. No. 7 Michigan State made the 2019 Final Four.”


Then, next Friday night, March 25, 2022, CBS will continue their LIVE coverage of the 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. This time, they’re going to air the Regional Semifinal game. The teams for that are still waiting to be announced since they’ll have to see which teams win to get to that semifinal round.

If any of you guys just happen to love the heck out of College Basketball, you might still want to flip on CBS ,tonight, as you normally would to catch all of the March Madness, College Basketball action. If College Basketball isn’t your cup of tea, you will definitely want to cross out CBS on Friday nights until that glorious April 1, 2022 date rolls around.

Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we were able to get a hold of some new, official spoiler teasers for the next, new episode 17 of Blue Bloods’ current season 12 straight from CBS via their official episode 17 press release.

First off, they revealed that the official title for this new episode 17 is called, “Hidden Motive.” It sounds like episode 17 will feature some very interesting, scandalous, dramatic, intense, emotional, possible action-filled and suspenseful scenes.

CBS’ official description for episode 17 reads like this, “Frank is blindsided when Mayor Chase bypasses him with a request for Jamie to head his security detail. Also, Danny and Baez investigate the murder of a wealthy college student. Eddie experiences tension with her partner, Badillo (Ian Quinlan), when she arrests a protestor against his wishes; and Anthony scrambles to help his half-brother when he fears money woes are leading his sibling down the wrong path on the CBS Original series BLUE BLOODS.”

Episode 17 will feature quite a few guest stars. They are: Marcus Giamatti as character (Gerry Gertz), Tom Galantich as character (Robert Spence), Erin Leigh Peck as character (Donna Spence), Ryan Woodle as character (Arty Kangiser), Jen Jacob as character (Amber Zazzarino), Caitlin Hammond as character (Grace Spence).

Guest stars continued: Claudia Logan as character (K.J.), Justin S. Kirkland as character (Officer Burgess), Chris Santangelo as character (Roy Dupree), Nancy Evans as character (Waitress/Joanie), Shawn K. Jain as character (E.R. Doctor), Chris Anthony Hernandez as character (Man In Crowd), Isabella Grace Lagares as character (Daughter) and Camille Upshaw as character (Security Guard).

Episode 17 will feature a couple of recurring stars. They are: Abigail Hawk as character (Abigail Baker), Gregory Jbara as character (DCPI Garrett Moore), Robert Clohessy as character (Lt. Gormley), Steven Schirripa as character (Anthony Abetemarco), Andrew Terraciano as character (Sean Reagan), Ian Quinlan as character (Officer Luis Badillo), Erick Betancourt as character (Leo Stutz) and Max Weinberg as character (Mario Vangelis).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 17 are: Tom Selleck as character (Frank Reagan), Donnie Wahlberg as character (Danny Reagan), Bridget Moynahan as character (Erin Reagan), Will Estes as character (Jamie Reagan), Len Cariou as character (Henry Reagan), Marisa Ramirez as character (Det. Maria Baez) and Vanessa Ray as character(Officer Eddie Janko).

Episode 17 was written by Daniel Truly, and it was directed by Bridget Moynahan.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 17 of Blue Bloods’ current season 12 is scheduled to finally make its arrival on Friday night, April 1,2022 at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
