The Good Doctor Season 5, April 25, 2022 Episode 16 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “The Good Doctor” fans. Sadly, we have some very bad news to report to you guys in this article. For some unknown reason, ABC has elected not to air the next, new episode 16 of The Good Doctor’s current season 5 tonight, April 25, 2022. That’s right, guys. It’s a done deal. It’s not happening tonight.
On the bright side, we can officially tell you that this is just a one week delay. ABC has told us that they do plan to air the new episode 16 next Monday night, May 2, 2022 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure that you don’t forget that very important date and time.
So, what does ABC have in store for you guys ,tonight, instead of new episodes of The Good Doctor? We can certainly answer that question for you. According to the TV guide listings, ABC is airing a repeat episode of The Good Doctor tonight. It will be the 12th episode of this season 5 titled,”Dry Spell.”
ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Drs. Lim, Park and Wolke treat a woman with Valley fever and discover a secret she has been hiding from her fiancé; Drs. Murphy, Allen and Andrews treat a 45-year-old virgin and help her make a big decision about her life.”
If any of you guys would like to check out this particular repeat episode of The Good Doctor, you might still want to keep ABC in your primetime plans tonight. If you only want to watch new episodes of The Good Doctor, you definitely want to get some alternate plans lined up as quick as you can.
Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we were able to get our hands on a couple of new, official teaser descriptions for the next, new episode 16 of The Good Doctor’s current season 5 via ABC’s official episode 16 press release.
In it, ABC let us know that this new episode 16 Of The Good Doctor’s current season 5 is officially labeled/titled, “The Shaun Show.” It sounds like episode 16 will feature some interesting, possible dramatic, emotional and intense scenes.
ABC’s official description for episode 16 reads like this, “As Shaun and Lea head toward their wedding day, a documentary film maker has chosen to follow their lives to showcase relationships and weddings of atypical couples.”
Episode 16 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Hollis Jane Andrews as character Sophie, Elfina Luk as character Nurse Villanueva, April Cameron as character Nurse Hawks and Antonia Thomas as character Claire Browne.
Episode 16 was written by Tracy Taylor, and it was directed by David Straiton.
Again, ABC confirmed that the next, new episode 16 of The Good Doctor’s current season 5 is scheduled to finally hit your TV screens next Monday night, May 2, 2022 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
