Chicago Med Season 7, April 27, 2022 Episode 20 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Chicago Med” fans. Unfortunately, we have some terrible news for you guys in this article. We have to tell you that for some unknown reason, NBC is not going to air the next, new episode 20 of Chicago Med’s current season 7 tonight, April 27, 2022. They’re also not going to air it next Wednesday night,May 4, 2022.
That’s right, guys. Your favorite, NBC medical drama is currently in the midst of a two-week delay. NBC did confirm that they plan to air the new episode 20 on Wednesday night, May 11, 2022 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to make a deep mental note of that very important date and time.
We did find out that NBC has a couple of Chicago Med, repeat episodes lined up to air during this 2-week delay period. According to the TV guide listings, NBC will be re-airing the 8th episode of this season 7 tonight. It’s titled, “Just as a Snake Sheds Its Skin.”
NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Scott’s loyalty to Med and the police department is challenged. The annual random drug testing puts a doctor’s career in jeopardy. Choi tries a risky old-school method on a patient. Halstead helps Hammer search for her mother.”
Then, next Wednesday night, April 27, 2022, NBC will be re-airing the 9th episode of this season 7 titled, “Secret Santa Has a Gift for You.”
NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “The outcome of Halstead’s investigation weighs heavily on his mind as he works with Scott to save an infant. Hammer and Taylor both struggle to keep their secrets. Marcel and Blake work with Abrams to save a patient in need of a liver transplant.”
If any of you guys are up for watching those particular Chicago Med, repeat episodes, you might still want to tune in to NBC on Wednesday nights as you normally would during this 2-week delay period. If you only want to watch new episodes of Chicago Med, you will certainly want to skip NBC on Wednesday nights until that May 11, 2022 date rolls around.
Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we were able to collect a couple of new, official teaser spoilers for the next, new episode 20 of Chicago Med’s current season 7 from NBC’s official episode 7 press release.
In it, NBC let us know that this new episode 20 has officially been named/titled, “END OF THE DAY, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.” It sounds like episode 20 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic, emotional and possible suspenseful scenes.
NBC’s official description for episode 7 reads like this, “Dylan helps the daughter of a mob boss. A grandmother comes to Med desperate to save her grandson. Ethan struggles with some shocking news about his father. Will and Vanessa care for Maggie’s high school classmate.”
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 20 of Chicago Med’s current season 7 is scheduled to finally hit the air on Wednesday night, May 11,2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
