Law & Order Organized Crime Season 2, May 19, 2022 Episode 22 Is The Finale. Season 3 Is Happening
Hey, “Law & Order: Organized Crime” fans. We hope you guys totally dug what episode 22 had to serve up tonight. We also hope you guys savored as much of it as you could because it was indeed the final episode of this current season 2. That’s right, guys. Law & Order: SVU season 2 came to a close with 22 episodes under its belt. This conclusion to season 2 means you guys will have to wait around a while before you get some more new episodes.
The good news is that you will get some new episodes of Law & Order: SVU because NBC did indeed renew it for a brand new season 3! According to the folks over TVLine.com , the season 3 renewal announcement was made by NBC last week sometime.
The President Of Scripted Programming for NBCU Entertainment and Streaming Lisa Katz had some wonderful things to say about the Law & Order brand as a whole stating, “The iconic Law & Order brand has long been synonymous with NBC and we couldn’t be more excited to bring back all three of these dramas for the 2022-23 season. It’s a testament to the brilliance of Dick Wolf’s storytelling that audiences remain compelled by these unforgettable characters week after week, year after year.”
Law &Order: OC season 2 averaged 3.394 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.54 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 21, which aired last Thursday night, May 12, 2022, drew in 3.155 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.48 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 4.176 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 17 with 2.978 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episodes were episodes 2 and 3. They both tied for first place with a 0.67 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 17 with a 0.44 ratings score. If you factor in the Live+7 DVR playback numbers, season 3 actually averaged 5.5 million viewers per episode, and a 1.0 ratings score. It ranked number 9 in viewership for NBC.
