FBI Most Wanted Season 3, May 24, 2022 Episode 22 Is The Finale. Season 4 Is Happening
Hey, “FBI: Most Wanted” fans. We hope you guys totally dug what you saw in episode 22 ,tonight, especially since episode 22 is going to be it for a while. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s episode 22 was indeed the final episode for this current season 3 of FBI: Most Wanted. That means you will have to wait a couple of months before another new episode arrives.
The good news is that a lot of new episodes of FBI: Most Wanted are certainly on their way because the lovely folks over at CBS did indeed renew FBI: Most Wanted for a new season 4 and a new season 5! That’s right, guys. CBS wasn’t playing any games. They were very confident that they wanted more FBI: Most Wanted.
Currently, we’re still waiting for CBS to announce the season 4 premiere date and how many episodes season 4 will contain. However, we are guessing that CBS is going to give it another full, 22 episodes.
CBS made the renewal announcement earlier this month on May 9, 2022 according to the folks over at TVLine.com. They also revealed that the president for CBS Entertainment Kelly Kahl said some extremely positive things about the FBI franchise as a whole during the renewal announcement because they apparently renewed all of the FBI shows for two, new seasons.
He stated, “The FBIs are one of the most successful brands in the entire TV landscape and a powerful cornerstone of our No. 1 lineup. They’ve attracted a dedicated, loyal fan base, thanks to the extraordinary vision of executive producer Dick Wolf and the talents of all three outstanding casts and creative teams. I know we and our viewers look forward to two additional seasons of engaging, heroic stories.”
Dick Wolf who is the executive producer for the FBI shows also chimed in with some wonderful words about the cast and crews. Not surprisingly, they were all very elated to have jobs for another two seasons. Wolf stated, “Everybody who works on these three shows is over the moon about the multi-year pickups.
We are all incredibly grateful to CBS and our partners at Universal Television and CBS Studios, and I personally would like to thank the incredible casts, talented writers and dedicated producers, not to mention three crews who never missed an airdate despite the difficulties of producing full seasons during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
FBI: Most Wanted’s current season 3 averaged 5.639 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.53 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 21, which aired last Tuesday night, May 17, 2022, drew in 5.462 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.48 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 7.119 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 6 with 4.883 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was episode 9 with a 0.69 ratings score. The lowest-rated episodes were episodes 5 and 6. They both tied for last place with a 0.44 ratings score. Season 3 actually averaged 8.9 million viewers per episode, and a 0.90 ratings score if you factor in all of the viewers from the DVR streaming platforms. So, that was a very good showing indeed from FBI: Most Wanted. We can see why CBS was so pleased to give it another two seasons.
