P Valley Season 2, August 14, 2022 Episode 10 Is the Finale. Season 3 Not Yet Confirmed
Hey, “P-Valley” fans. We totally hope you guys had a blast with the content that tonight’s episode 10 delivered to the table, especially since it was the very last episode of this current season 2. Yep, that’s right, guys. Tonight’s episode 10 was indeed the season 2 finale episode of P-Valley.
So, what does that mean, exactly? Unfortunately, we can’t really tell you right now. All we can tell you is there won’t be anymore new episodes for season 2 because it’s obviously done and over with. Currently, the folks over at the STARZ network have not made a season 3 renewal announcement for P-Valley as of the writing of this article. So, we’re just going to have to wait and see what STARZ decides to do with the future of P-Valley.
What we can do is take a look at the numbers that season 2 delivered for STARZ and come up with a guess. According to the official Nielson ratings, P-Valley’s current season 2 averaged 230,000 LIVE viewers, and a 0.08 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 9, which aired last Sunday night, August 7, 2022, drew in 275,000 LIVE viewers, and a 0.08 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was episode 7 with 281,000 LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 3 with 175,000 LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was episode 7 with a 0.09 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 6 with a 0.06 ratings score. These are just the numbers for the LIVE Nielson ratings. It’s very possible that P-Valley could have gotten triple or more the amount of viewers via the streaming platforms.
If that’s the case, we figure that STARZ will definitely apply that total to the LIVE viewership numbers and then come up with a decision. Those LIVE Nielson ratings and viewership numbers do seem pretty good for what a STARZ show typically gets. So, we wouldn’t be surprised if STARZ did give P-Valley a new season 3 renewal.
Again, we’ll just have to sit tight for the unforeseeable future until STARZ makes their official announcement of if they’re going to cancel P-Valley or renew it. Cross your fingers, guys.
