Survivor November 2, 2022 Voted Off Dwight Moore (Recap)
Hey, “Survivor” fans. Tonight, November 2, 2022, another new episode of Survivor’s current season 43 did indeed air, and another unlucky contestant got sent packing at the end with another heavy blindside.
Tonight’s episode kicked off with Jeanine telling the private cams how blindsided she felt about the last tribal council meeting, which sent her main partner Elie Scott home. Jeanine said, “I’m still reeling about them blindsiding Elie. I’m on the outside and people didn’t tell me this crucial information.”
Noelle tried to reassure Jeanine that she’s ok saying,”It had nothing to do with you.” Jeanine told everyone she had no hard feelings and that it actually frees her up to play her own game. Everyone seemed fine with Jeanine.
Elsewhere, Owen was seen telling Dwight, “Gabler makes me nervous.” Owen told the private cams, “Gabler is on a war path. I have red flags about keeping Gabler in my alliance because who knows what he could do next.”
Gabler told the private cams that he plans to lay low since he got Elie out, but he’s ready to strike again when the time comes.
After all of that, all the castmembers got a note that told them they would be divided up into 6 pairs for the next immunity challenge. Then, host Jeff Probst showed up and explained everything to them.
This immunity challenge consisted of 3 stages. In the first stage, the pairs had to make it through a couple of obstacle courses, and the first, 4 pairs to make it through moved on to the 2nd stage. In the 2nd stage, the remaining pairs had to make it through more obstacle courses, and the first 2 pairs to complete them moved on to the finals. In the final stage, the pairs were broken up, and it was now just an individual competition.
Cody, Dwight, Gabler and Owen made it to the finals. In this final stage, they had to keep a bucket suspended up in the air via an apparatus that made them use the strength of their wrists to keep the bucket suspended. The last one holding it up, won. It came down to a Gabler and Cody showdown. After 40 or so minutes, Gabler pulled out the victory over Cody to claim immunity.
From there, Ryan and James’ names came up as a target via Jeanine’s mouth. James found a clue in front of some people, and he told them he wasn’t going to use it, but he did. Noelle found out about James’ clue and told the private cams, “James is my target. He’s gotta go.” So, she campaigned to Jesse to get James out.
Then, Jesse told Karla he wants to get Noelle out ,now, before it’s too late. Jesse pitched Noelle as a target to Cody, but Cody said he wanted to get Dwight out. Jesse agreed to consider Dwight to make Cody feel like he does have a voice in what happens.
James revealed to the private cams that he got the “Knowledge Is Power” advantage. It allowed him to take someone else’s advantage or idol by asking them if they have it. For some ungodly reason, James told Cody that he had the “Knowledge Is Power” advantage. That, of course, made Cody feel nervous.
So, Cody started considering James as a target. Cody also told everyone else about James’ advantage. So, everyone else with an idol or advantage started giving them to other people so James wouldn’t know who has what.
Next, the tribal council meeting finally began. They just did some pretty general game talk before they casts their votes.
When the votes were read, James got 2 votes, Ryan got 3 votes and Dwight received a whopping 6 votes. So, with the 6 votes, Dwight did get the shaft. They apparently went with Cody’s plans to get Dwight out. Dwight was a good sport. He told everyone, “Good game, guys” on the way out. He told the private cams, “I got blindsided very hard. It sucks because I was so close to making it to jury.”
