Now that episode 7 is way, way back in our rearview mirror, it’s time for us to tell you what to expect from the next, new episode 8 and 9 of The Rookie’s current season 5 when they air back-to-back on Sunday night, December 4, 2022. That’s right, guys. You’re going to get not one, but two new episodes on the same night when December 4, 2022 finally rolls around.
We were able to collect some new, official teaser scoops for episodes 8 and 9 via ABC’s official episodes 8 and 9 press releases. So, we’re going to totally serve those up to you right now. Let’s get into it.
To start, the official title for the new episode 8 of The Rookie season 5 is called, “The Collar.” It sounds like episode 8 will feature a ton of drama, scandal, intensity, action, suspense, emotion and more.
In the new episode 8, an explosive rampage will be the main focus of this one teaser description that ABC chose to reveal. Yep, this episode is going to be wild as an explosive situation will take place that is so serious that officers John Nolan and Celina Juarez will have to act as quickly as they can to stop the source of this explosive situation!
ABC’s official description for episode 8 reads like this, “Officers John Nolan and Celina Juarez are in a race against time to stop the source of an explosive rampage on an all-new episode.” We have a little more info on this via a preview clip. Apparently, a woman will have a bomb detonator around her neck, and she will be forced to keep driving her car or the bomb will explode with her in it! So, get ready to see all of that suspense play out.
ABC’s press confirmed that the next, new episode 8 of The Rookie’s current season 5 is indeed scheduled to finally show up on Sunday night, December 4, 2022 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
The new episode 9 of The Rookie season 5 is officially titled, “Take Back.” It sounds like episode 9 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic,emotional, possible action-filled and suspenseful scenes.
ABC’s official description for episode 9 reads like this, “Officer John Nolan and the team investigate the unexpected death of a suspect in police custody. Their search also uncovers a very delicate loose end that could jeopardize Officer Celina Juarez’s career.
Meanwhile, Sergeant Grey and his wife, Luna, go to New York to visit their daughter, Dominique, only to realize she never made it home from the night before.”
ABC’s press release confirmed that the new episode 9 of The Rookie’s current season 5 is scheduled to air on Sunday night, December 4, 2022 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
