For starters, this new episode 17 of The Rookie’s current season 5 has been officially labeled/titled,”The Enemy Within.” It sounds like episode 17 will feature some very interesting, intense and dramatic scenes as the team has to rely on a new source. A discrepancy gets discovered in a reopened case and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the team’s new source situation. Yeah, it turns out that since Elijah and Abril have become pals, the team will have to now rely on Elijah’s lawyer named Monica to uncover their plans.
ABC’s official description for this new team source plotline reads like this, “Now that Elijah and Abril have become allies, the team must rely on Monica, Elijah’s lawyer, to uncover their plans.”
The second and last teaser spoiler for this new episode 17 lets us know that Officers John Nolan and Juarez will be in action at some point. During their new set of scenes, they will end up reopening Juarez’s sister’s case, and locate a discrepancy that is so radical that it will actually lead them down a whole new path!
ABC’s description for this case discrepancy storyline reads like this, “Officers Nolan and Juarez reopen her sister’s case and discover a discrepancy that leads them on a new trail.”
ABC’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 17 of The Rookie’s current season 5 is indeed scheduled to hit up your TV sets tonight, February 28, 2023 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
