New Dateline NBC May 5, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “Dateline NBC” fans. We’re back to let you know that NBC will indeed serve up another new episode of Dateline NBC tonight, May 5, 2023. That’s right, guys. NBC is going to deliver the next, new episode 30 of Dateline NBC’s current season 31 tonight, and we have some new preview information for it.
The lovely NBC folks were so very nice enough to supply us with an official press release for tonight’s new, May 5, 2023 edition. So, that is certainly what we’ll be working with to deliver this preview session. Let’s get into it.
To start, we’ve got an official title for tonight’s new, May 5, 2023 episode. It’s called, “Killing Time.” In tonight’s new episode, the Dateline NBC team will take a deep look at a story about a tragic murder that took place way, way back in 1997.
A high school student named Amy Preasmyer and her friends made a frantic call to the police the night this murder happened because Amy’s boyfriend Ricky Cowles Jr. was the victim. They found him lying in a pool of blood in his apartment! A few months later, the police did make an arrest. However, Ricky’s family is convinced that there is so much more to this story that they don’t know about. Also, Ricky’s killer will give an interview and talk about what really took place the night of the murder.
Canadian broadcaster Keith Morrison will be doing the reporting duties for this episode. It will feature interviews with: Billy Hoffmann, Debbie and Rick Cowles, Larry and Georgia Preasmyer, retired Los Angeles Sheriff’s Detective Larry Brandenburg, and more.
NBC’s official description for tonight’s new, May 5, 2023 episode of Dateline NBC reads like this, “High school student Amy Preasmyer and her friends place a frantic call to 911 after discovering Amy’s boyfriend Ricky Cowles Jr. lying in a pool of blood in his apartment.
Police make an arrest months later, but the family is convinced there is more to the story. In Friday’s Dateline, Ricky’s killer speaks out about what really happened on that August night in 1997.”
An alternate description tells us, “‘Killing Time’ Features Exclusive Interview with the Convicted Killer & Details on the Latest Twist in the Case.”
NBC also released a new preview clip for tonight’s new, May 5, 2023 episode. There’s definitely lots of intense interviews with the people that were involved, family members and more. The convicted killer is seen revealing the shocking twist as well, but it doesn’t seem to make a whole lot of sense. NBC’s press release confirmed that Dateline NBC is brand new again tonight, May 5, 2023 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
