Big Brother August 31, 2023 Evicted No One Due To Crazy Twist (Recap)
Hey, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, August 31, 2023, another new episode for Big Brother’s current season 25 did indeed hit the air. This one was the LIVE eviction episode, but this one had a wild and crazy twist at the end that resulted in no one getting evicted tonight.
Tonight’s new, LIVE eviction episode kicked off with us getting footage of what happened in the house after reigning POV (Power of Veto) winner Red didn’t use the veto to save Blue or Jag and leaving them both on the eviction chopping block at the last POV ceremony.
Red told the Diary Room aka private cams, “I decided not to use the veto because I wanted to keep things simple for Cam aka Cameron, and we’ve decided that Jag needs to be evicted this week.” Izzy told the private cams, “I’m in a fake alliance with Cameron and Red at the moment because I don’t trust them at all.”
Blue told the private cams, “Cameron reassured me that I’m good. I’m not the target this week. It just sucks that my friend Jag has to go home.” Jag campaigned to Cirie, Izzy and Matt for their votes, and it seemed to work because they said, “The best move is for us to keep Jag.” They felt Jag would be a better choice to help them go against Cameron and Red in the future.
Cirie told Jared, “Blue might be going home.” Jared said, “That’s not good for me because Blue is my plus one.” Jared told the private cams, “I’m not going to play the game of being told what to do even by my mom.” Cirie told the private cams, “Jared not being on board to get Blue out throws a monkey wrench in our plans to keep jag. I don’t see a way to save Jag.”
Next, host Julie Chen-Moonves revealed that there’s a super power twist in play. Four of the houseguests were secretly chosen by America’s vote to compete in a special competition for a secret power titled, “Power Of Invincibility.” Cirie, Cory, Matt and Jag were the four houseguests voted by America to compete for it.
The Power Of Invincibility comp required them to maneuver a ball through a tilted maze and into a box without it falling off. If it fell off, they had to start all over again. The person to get their ball into the box in the quickest amount of time, won. When it was all played and done, it was revealed that Matt won the Power Of Invincibility, and that it allowed him to save one of the next two evicted houseguests from eviction.
Matt told the private cams, “I’m not sure what I’m going to do with this power. I’m going to tell Cirie about it and see what she thinks. This might help me build more trust with her.” After telling Cirie, she told the private cams, “I have a whole new outlook on how Matt and I can play this game together. He’s gain so much trust with me. I wouldn’t mind actually being in a final 3 with him.”
Matt was seen explaining to Cirie that if he saved Jag, Cameron would get to play the next HOH (Head Of Household) competition this week because it would cancel out his whole HOH week.
After all of that, the eviction nominees Blue and Jag gave their final plea speeches. Then, the rest of the houseguests minus HOH Cameron casts their votes to evict.
Red, Jared, Cory, America, Matt, Cirie, Felicia, Izzy, Mecole and Bowie Jane all voted to evict Jag. No one voted to evict Blue. So, by a unanimous vote of 10-0, Jag got voted off Big Brother season 25, or did he? Just before Jag was about to leave the house, a message appeared from the Comic-Verse. It said, “The Power Of Invincibility has been used. Jag is safe from eviction. Since it was used, everyone can play in the HOH comp including the outgoing HOH Cameron. No one is going home.”
So, there you have it, guys. No one got evicted from the Big Brother season 25 house tonight due to Matt winning the Power Of Invincibility power and using it to save Jag from eviction. We suspect this whole twist was put into play by the producers to make up for when they booted off houseguest Luke Valentine earlier this season, resulting in two people leaving the house that week, and they needed to make up for that extra week somehow.
Anyways, they did not show the next, new HOH competition during the LIVE episode once again. So, we will have to jump on here ,later on, with the results of it. Be sure to follow us on our official Big Brother Twitter page for the latest Big Brother news and updates by Clicking Here.
