Dancing With The Stars October 3, 2023 Eliminated Jamie Lynn Spears & Alan Bersten (Recap)

Hey, “Dancing With The Stars” fans. Tonight, October 3, 2023, another new LIVE, performances/results episode of Dancing With The Stars’ current season 32 did indeed hit the air. The judges: Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli were on hand.

The theme for tonight’s episode was Latin Night. So, everyone performed to only Latin music. It was revealed that Charity Lawson’s pro dance partner Artem Chigvintsev got COVID. So, Ezra Sosa danced with Charity tonight.

Lele Pons and Brandon Armstrong kicked off the performances with a Samba routine. Afterwards, Derek said, “That was spicy. It got a little wild and crazy at times, but it was a great way to start “Latin Night.” Bruno said,”I liked your energy. You’re the life of the party, but you need to polish and finish the details.” Carrie Ann said, “That her performance did get a little wild.”


Carrie Ann gave Lele and Brandon a 7 score, Derek a 7, Bruno a 7 for a total of 21 points out of a possible 30 points.

Tyson Beckford and Jenna Johnson delivered a Salsa dance. Afterwards, Bruno said, “You were on time. You did the steps and projected a performance.” Carrie Ann said,” That was a dance glow-up, but heavy-footed at times.” Derek said,”You were a great partner to Jenna, but you need to loosen up the legs a little.”

Carrie Ann gave Tyson and Jenna a 6 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total of 18 points.

Barry Williams and Peta Murgatroyd served up a Cha Cha number. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “You’re comfortable in your body, but the top half and bottom half of your body wasn’t quite in sync.” Derek said, “I love watching you, but you seemed to be slipping on the floor a little. You need more grip.” Bruno said, “I loved the confidence, but you needed to connect the leg, body and arms more. It was too staccato, almost like a paso doble.”

Carrie Ann gave Barry and Peta a 5 score, Derek a 5, Bruno a 5 for a total of 15 points.

Adrian Peterson and Britt Stewart danced a Samba. Afterwards, Derek said, “I thought there were too many heel leads. It was blocky, but you looked good in the side-by-side segments.” Bruno said,”I like how you apply yourself, but you could stand to soften it.” Carrie Ann said,”You have incredible athletic prowess, but you need refinement, better partnering. You need to be centered and use your power more carefully.”

Carrie Ann gave Adrian and Britt a 5 score, Derek a 5, Bruno a 5 for a total of 15 points.

Mira Sorvino and Gleb Savchenko delivered a Salsa routine. Afterwards, Bruno said, “This performance was tastefully presented. There were a couple of mistakes, and you need to turn up the spice.” Carrie Ann said, “You need more confidence, which will help you keep the beat.” Derek said,”I want more attack on the steps, but I think you will excel at a ballroom dance style.”

Carrie Ann gave Mira and Gleb a 6 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total of 18 points

Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy rocked a Salsa number. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said,”Salsa is your super power. There was a flash of a young Rita Moreno. You gave style, sophistication and storytelling.” Derek said, “You sold it well. You had great focus. You had a lot of texture in your movements, and your spins were out of this world.” Bruno said, “That was so hot, I’m melting. It was also an authentic salsa, not just with the hips but the arms.”

Carrie Ann gave Xochitl and Val an 8 score, Derek an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 24 points.

Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov performed a Samba routine. Afterwards, Derek said, “I liked the samba rolls, but it needed more control and refinement.” Bruno said, “This routine was sexy. You worked it from every angle, but you missed a pass and lost balance.” Carrie Ann said, “The biggest note I have is for you to finish your movements. Don’t cut them short.”

Carrie Ann gave Ariana a 6 score, Derek a 7, Bruno a 7 for a total of 20 points

Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater danced a Salsa routine. Afterwards, Bruno said, “There were so many mistakes, but it happens to everyone.” Carrie Ann said, “It happens to the best of them, and you came back strong from the mistakes.” Derek said, “A setback sets you up for a comeback, and your lifts were good.”

Carrie Ann gave Mauricio and Emma a 4 score, Derek a 4, Bruno a 4 for a total of 12 points.

Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber delivered a Tango dance. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “This was a woman empowered. A little tense in the shoulders, but you were poised.” Derek said,”This routine was night-and-day from last week. The foot placements were right. It was sharp.” Bruno said, “I thought it was a giant leap from comedy to drama. You were focused and not distracted, but Carrie Ann is right about your tight shoulders.”

Carrie Ann Alyson and Sasha a 7 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total 19 points.

Charity Lawson and Ezra Sosa danced a Cha Cha number. Afterwards, Derek said, “You did a great job, but I want to see more of a connection with the partner that draws the audience into your performance.” Bruno said, “Every picture hit with clinical precision, and you could afford to relax more.” Carrie Ann said, “This performance was elegant, clean and tight. A little too tight, bordering on stiff.”

Carrie Ann gave Charity a 7 score, Derek a 7, Bruno a 7 for a total of 21 points.

Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold danced a Salsa number. Afterwards, Bruno said, “I appreciated that you put in the work, and there was more content, but your hips are still frozen ,and you weren’t quite on time.” Carrie Ann said, “It was good that your eyes were up instead of looking down at the floor.” Derek said, “I loved your lifts and tricks, but you were a little ahead of the music.”

Carrie Ann gave Harry and Kylee a 5 score, Derek a 5, Bruno a 5 for a total of 15 points.

Jamie Lynn Spears and Alan Bersten danced a Cha Cha. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “You missed a step, and you need to elongate your torso.” Derek said, “It was improved in terms of your confidence and presence.” Bruno said,”I like how you came out of your shell.”

Carrie Ann gave Jamie and Alan a 6 score, Derek a 5, Bruno a 5 for a total of 16 points

Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach wrapped up tonight’s performances with a Rumba dance. Afterwards, Derek said, “It was a beautiful rumba. You nailed it.” Bruno said, “You two were like two coral snakes. You had the right motion.” Carrie Ann said, “I saw a tiny misstep in there, but otherwise, it was exceptional with the connection to the music and interpretation through movement.”

Carrie Ann gave Jason and Daniella an 8 score, Derek an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 24 points.

After all of that, they revealed that all the couples were safe except for Jamie Lynn Spears & Alan Bersten and Adrian Peterson & Britt Stewart. They landed in the bottom two of the LIVE voting. Then, they revealed that Jamie Lynn Spears & Alan Bersten got the least amount of votes. So, they were eliminated. How do you guys feel about that? Let us know in the comments section.
