New 20/20 October 27, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey,”20/20″ fans. We’re back at you, once again, to let you know that ABC will be serving up another 2-hour edition of 20/20 tonight, October 27, 2023. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s brand new episode will be the 5th installment for 20/20’s current season 46, and we’ve got some new preview information for it.
ABC put out an official press release for tonight’s new, October 27, 2023 episode 5. So, we will certainly dig into it for this preview session. Let’s go.
To start, ABC let us know that tonight’s new, October 27, 2023 episode 5 of 20/20 season 46 does have an official title. It’s called, “She Was Almost Home.”
In tonight’s new, October 27,2023 episode 5, the 20/20 team will take a deep look at a story about a 20 year old woman named Sierah Joughin. She, all of a sudden, turned up missing while trying to ride her bike from her boyfriend’s house in the summer of 2016.
A huge search and rescue mission took place to try and find her. However, things started looking very dim for Sierah as days continued to pass without any sign of her. The investigation eventually led the police to a man named James Worley. He’s a man with a sinister past and a lot of dark secrets. ABC News correspondent John Quinones handled the reporting duties for this case and episode.
This episode featured interviews with: Robin Gardner, who survived an earlier abduction attempt by Worley. This episode also includes interviews with Sheila Vaculik, Sierah’s mother; Tara Ice, Sierah’s aunt; and Josh Kolasinski, Sierah’s boyfriend at the time.
Exclusive interviews include Major Matt Smithmyer from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, who led the investigation; Kelsie Langenderfer and Bailey May, Sierah’s friends; Cathy Shaffer, Sierah’s grandmother; and FBI Special Agent Devon Lossick and FBI Violent Crime Task Force officer Dan Van Vorhis, two key investigators who conducted interviews with Worley during the search.

ABC’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 5 of 20/20’s current season 46 is indeed scheduled to hit your TV sets tonight, October 27, 2023, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
