New 48 Hours November 4, 2023 Episode Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some terrible news to report to you in this article. It turns out that the CBS people are not airing a new episode of 48 hours tonight, November 4, 2023. That’s right, guys, and this news gets worse because we’ve just learned that they’re also not airing one next Saturday Night, November 11, 2023. So, you guys are going to have to go without any new episodes of 48 Hours for at least two straight weeks.
We did track down the reason why CBS isn’t airing new 48 Hours episodes tonight and next Saturday night. According to the TV guide listings, CBS has cleared out their Saturday Night schedules to provide LIVE coverage of some sporting events over these next two weeks.
Tonight, November 4, 2023, CBS is going to provide LIVE coverage for a College Football game featuring the LSU Tigers vs the Alabama Crimson Tide. They’re official description for it reads like this, “College Football. LSU at Alabama LIVE. Heated rivals in the No. 14 Tigers (6-2, 4-1) and No. 8 Crimson Tide (7-1, 5-0) try to keep their SEC title hopes intact. LSU has won two of the last four meetings, including 32-31 in overtime last year in the Bayou behind quarterback Jayden Daniels.”
Next Saturday night, November 11, 2023, CBS is going to provide LIVE coverage for a NWSL Soccer game. Their official description for it reads like this, “NWSL Soccer Championship: Teams TBA (To Be Announced) LIVE. From Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego.”
If any of you guys happen to be College football or NWSL Soccer fans, CBS might still be the channel for you over these next two weeks. If you only want to see new 48 Hours episodes in these time slots, you will certainly want to skip CBS tonight and next Saturday night, and make some alternate plans.
We’re assuming that new 48 Hours episodes will resume on Saturday night, November 18, 2023, but we can’t verify that right now. We’ll have to wait until CBS actually announces the next, new 48 Hours episode via an official press release.
