New Quantum Leap Season 2, November 22 & 29, 2023 Episode 7 Delayed. Not Airing
Hey, “Quantum Leap” fans. Unfortunately, we have to tell you that we’ve just learned that the folks over at NBC are not airing the next, new episode 7 of Quantum Leap’s current season 2 tonight, November 22, 2023. They’re also not going to air it next Wednesday night, November 29, 2023. That’s right, guys. NBC is going to make you wait a little extra longer to see the new episode 7.
According to NBC’s official episode 7 press release, NBC doesn’t plan to air the new episode 7 until Wednesday night, December 6, 2023. During that time, it will air in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to memorize that very important date and time.
In the meantime, we did track down what NBC is going to air in Quantum Leap’s place during this two-week delay. According to the TV guide listings, NBC is going to air a special, LIVE Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade special tonight. NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Countdown to Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade LIVE. A behind-the-scenes peek shares the incredible stories of the parade’s floats, balloons and bands.”
Next Wednesday night, November 29, 2023, NBC is going to air a LIVE Christmas special titled, “91st Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center LIVE.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “The 91st annual tree-lighting ceremony kicks off the holiday season with a dazzling display of musical talents, star-studded surprises and the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree; Kelly Clarkson hosts.”
If any of you guys find those specials to be enticing at all, you might still want to hang with NBC tonight and next Wednesday night to check them out. If you’re not interested in any of those specials, and you only want to see new episodes of Quantum Leap, you will certainly want to skip NBC during this two-week delay and check back in on the December 6, 2023 date.
Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we did track down an official teaser description for the next, new episode 7 of Quantum Leap season 2 from NBC’s episode 7 press release. It let us know that episode 7 is officially titled, “A Kind of Magic.”
NBC’s description for episode 7 reads like this, “Ben leaps back to 1692 — the farthest he’s ever been — where he finds himself on trial for practicing witchcraft; with limited records online, the team must race to save him before he’s put to death.”
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 7 of Quantum Leap’s current season 2 is scheduled to finally hit the air on Wednesday night, December 6, 2023 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot.
