New Chicago Fire Season 12 January 17, 2024 Premiere Episode 1 Spoilers Revealed
Hey, “Chicago Fire” fans. We’re back on here with some wonderful news for you guys because the people over at NBC will finally serve up the brand new season 12 premiere episode 1 of Chicago Fire tonight, January 17, 2024. That’s right, guys. After months and months of delays due to the writers and actors strikes of last year, the wait is finally over, and we’ve got some new spoiler scoops to throw your way.
We were able to get a hold of a couple of new, official teaser descriptions for this new episode 1 via NBC’s official episode 1 press release synopsis. So, we will certainly pull it up for this spoiler session. Let’s get to it.
For starters, NBC gave us the official title for this new episode 1 of Chicago Fire season 12. The writers decided to go with the name, “Barely Gone.” It sounds like episode 1 will feature some very intense, dramatic, interesting and emotional scenes as two crews are forced to share space. A fight takes place. Kidd and Severide get tested. A goodbye situation takes place and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the share a space situation. Yep it turns out that something will go down in this episode that causes both the Firehouse 51 crew and the Firehouse 17 crew to get forced into sharing some space. NBC’s official description for this space-sharing plotline tells us, “Firehouse 51 is forced to share space with Firehouse 17.”
The second spoiler scoop reveals that we’ll see Kidd and Hermann in action, but this won’t be a very positive scenario. Oh no, no, no. These two are going to straight up get into a fight over Ritter at some point.

The 3rd spoiler teaser lets us know that a certain arson case will be so significant that it actually ends up testing Kidd and Severide’s entire relationship.

The 4th and last teaser spoiler for this new episode 1 lets us know that the Firehouse crew will have what sounds like a very interesting and possible emotional moment as they will say goodbye to someone on their team. NBC’s description for this Firehouse 51, goodbye moment reads like this, “Firehouse 51 says goodbye to one of its own.”
NBC’s press release confirmed that the new, premiere episode 1 of Chicago Fire’s new season 12 is indeed scheduled to finally hit the air tonight, January 17, 2024, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time. Tonight’s new episode will be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 9 pm central standard time.
