The Bachelor February 26, 2024 Eliminated Kelsey T & Jenn (Recap)
Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, February 26, 2024, another new episode of The Bachelor 2024 edition with headliner Joey Graziadei did indeed hit the air, and he did get rid of another couple of women by the time it all wrapped up.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with footage of the women arriving in their new location, which was Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Shortly after that, we got footage of Joey taking Daisy out on a 1 on 1 date. Joey told the private cams, “I am falling for Daisy, but I don’t know if she’s falling for me yet. I’m looking to find out on this date.”
They greeted each other with a big hug. Then, Joey took her to go horseback riding. Daisy told the private cams, “I’d love for my family to meet Joey.”
After the horseback riding, they got in a hot tub and talked. Daisy told the private cams, “I love being with Joey and kissing him.” Joey told her, “I want the kind of love where I feel I can’t be without the other person.” Daisy told the private cams, “My feelings are strong for Joey, but I’m not in love with him yet.”
During the second half of their date, they talked some more. She told him that she really wants to see how Joey interacts with her family and that it’s really important to her. She also told him, “I really like you, but I’m not at the point of falling in love with you yet.”
Joey told the private cams that he was disappointed that Daisy isn’t falling in love with him yet. He told Daisy, “I appreciate your honesty. What you said didn’t scare me. So, I really want to meet your family. Will you accept this rose?” She said, “This is the best rose ever.” Joey told the private cams, “I enjoy spending time with Daisy. She’s really special. I could see having a life with her.” Daisy told the private cams, “I really, really like Joey. I didn’t expect this. I think I am starting to fall for him.”
At one point, Jenn was seen telling the private cams that she was really upset about not getting a 1 on 1 date with Joey yet.
Next, we got footage of Joey taking Kelsey T, Maria, Rachel and Jenn out on a group date. During it, Joey took them to learn how to be lumberjacks. They chopped wood. They threw axes at a dart board. They sawed wood. They competed against each other in lumberjack competitions.
Maria kept constantly complaining to the private cams about how much she didn’t like this group date. At one point, Jenn kissed Joey in front of the other women, and they didn’t like it, especially Maria. She told the private cams, “It’s going to be hard to introduce a guy to my family who isn’t all mine. This is just too much.”
During the afterparty, Joey talked with Jenn. She told him about being upset that she didn’t get a 1 on 1 date yet. She went on to say, “I’m definitely excited for you to meet my family, but I’m not sure how well it will go. I’ve never brought anyone home before.” Joey told her, “What you said doesn’t scare me. I will do whatever it takes to be a part of your family.” Jenn said, “You made me feel a lot better,” and they kissed.
Joey talked with Kelsey T. She said, “My feelings for you are really strong,” and they kissed. Joey talked with Rachel. She told him, “I feel totally comfortable with you meeting my family. They will adore you.” Joe said, “I love how confident you are about me. I need that. I do,” and they kissed.
Joey talked with Maria. She told him, “I’m not cut out for this. I like you so much. It doesn’t sit right with me bringing you to meet my family when you’re not all mine. I just don’t know if I can do this anymore.” Joey said, “I understand, but my heart doesn’t get it because I thought we were going somewhere. So, are we done?”
Maria walked away and cried. Then, she came back and told Joey, “It’s so real with how I feel. So, I might have overreacted. Because of how I feel about you, it got the best of me.” Joey said,”I love your honesty. I don’t want you to stop being honest with me about your feelings. I need you to start believing the one I pick can be you because I will be all in at the end of this,” and they kissed. At the end, Joey told the women that he can’t give out the group date rose because he needs more time to think.
From there, we got 1 on 1 date footage with Joey and Kelsey A. Joey took her to a souvenir shop to get things started. Then, they eventually participated in a Polar plunge event. They had a lot of fun doing it, and they kissed afterwards. Joey told the private cams, “My feelings for Kelsey A have grown so much. I don’t want to stop being around her. I’m very hopeful for us.”
During the second half of their date, they talked. Kelsey A talked to him about her family at one point. She said her dad really stepped up to raise her and her siblings when her mom died. They told each other that they take this process very serious.
Joey told the private cams, “I can’t wait to see what comes next with Kelsey A.” He told her, “You have this energy about you that makes me feel so happy. I want to meet your dad and siblings. It gets me excited. Will you accept this rose?” Kelsey A told the private cams, “I’m so happy I got a rose. This is a hometowns rose.” They kissed to wrap up this date.
Next, host Jesse Palmer was seen telling the ladies there won’t be a cocktail party. They’re going straight to the rose ceremony.” Before Joey handed out the roses, he pulled Maria aside to talk. He told her, “I want to feel confident that you want to be here and will stay.” Maria said,”My insecurities got the best of me, and I want to prove to you that I’m not going to run away.” Joey said,”Thanks for talking with me.”
Next, Joey gave Rachel and Maria a rose to join Daisy and Kelsey A who received roses earlier in this episode. That means poor Kelsey T and Jenn did not receive a rose and had to make their exits from the show.
